hi everyone, in this video, i am going to show you three very simple ways to create a simple yet unique sketchbook cover of your own using: 1/my go-to sketchbook cover idea of repurposing damage book cover with a small twist of adding a wrap-around closure, 2/create a soft-cover sketchbook using Shizen handmade paper and die-cut illustrations from a vintage book, and 3/. make-use of beautiful handmade paper with dried flower inlays as cover for pocket sized sketchbook.

I just ordered the shizen paper.😊 I do have a question for you: I have old books that I have removed the text block from so I can make watercolor journals like you are doing, My question is, how do you know how many papers to put into the book so that it fits correctly? I usually end up with too few papers but I want it to be full like yours. Any tips?
