If you are doing divided canopy, you are set up for alternate root zone drip irrigation. Makes water management easier. Makes under vine control easier. Makes green in the alley for biodiversity possible. I’ve used zero fertilizer and pesticides since 2013 with this strategy.

We moved permanently to synthetic fertilizers to cut down on costs and have had better results organic was just costing us money long term with nutrient defficiency and pest problems.
