Adding curds is age old. My grandmother never made upma without adding curds. We do add curds in upma. It has a nice, different taste. So please do try it.

Thanks for our favourite recipe.We Tamilians add curd and prepare the same way but we add coconut oil which we love. We add green chillies also which you did not add .
