    I lived in upton park a few years ago next to upton park market, it werent all that then, i hear its disgusting now

    The Asian invasion in the 90's injected some rejuvenation it needed. Now the area seems to have a mix of the European influence

      Yes a lot of Romanians and Polish. I used to live by nearby Rochester Avenue. I guess the "Asian invasion" is not a bad thing as most of those shops would have been still empty to this day.
