- This happened in the final round of the Qatar Masters 2023. Arjun Erigaisi was leading the tournament going into the last round with a score of 6.5/8. A draw would guarantee him at least the joint first spot. At stake was the first place and the first prize of US$25,000. Nodirbek Abdusattorov comes prepared in a tremendous way and the game was filled with so many beautiful moments and the final moment was just unbelievable.

He played the whole tournament so well. And even this match. Had he drawn, he would probably win the tournament. One move changed everything. Man, chess is truly brutal.
No, if he drew the game then nodirbek yakubboev would've won and if he won then he still would go on a tiebreak with yakubboev
@@winningsm_iie2447 still there were chances of his winning how can you say yakubboev would have won.
@@manjilmanjil3003 that's not what I said, I only said yakubboev would've won if erigaisi drew his game with abdusattorov.
@@winningsm_iie2447 if arjun draws he played tie breaks from where are you doing non sense go and check arjun is leading the tournament before this by 0.5 points so he only needed draw to play tie break
@@winningsm_iie2447 confirm your knowledge then talk arjun played much better than anyone he played all gm and im and abdusattarov playes fm also only 2 gm
That "sorry" thing makes me tears.. beautiful gesture u cannot see nowadays
Your eyes see the move, your hand moves the piece and your brain computates the move. Then you snap out of the mirage of a good move and realize the nightmare of what just happened.
Great player Aaron, time will give him more honours.. huff. He played a toy of an opening ( risky, may be he knows the board and pieces, upside down-- i dont like the opening though, Q*d4) and have to pay price defending through out. Lesson for every chess aspirant out there.
Uzbekiston olg'a Nodirbek 🇺🇿🇺🇿🇺🇿
And today Nodirbek defended a lost queen endgame for 3 hours agains Shirov, at one point the evaluation had an M in it but in the end he drew it. Man does not give up, and luck goes his way most of the time.
Nodirbek is The best of the best chess player in the world
Nodirbek next champ
If you see Nodirbek is staring an opponent in the game, it is 100 percent obvious that the opponent can not save the game anymore.
What an amazing game this was. Fantastic commentary as always.
Amazing that even at this level they can make a move that I would do, although my blunders tend to be much earlier in the game.
Such a brutal game at times.
He will come back stronger !
I love the enthusiasm of your videos.
Also, Arjun seemed to play this game without looking at the board half of the time, lol.
this shows that even top grandmasters blunders
Just before Rh4, I just had a thought in a split second that what if he now plays Rh4... and he did🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
Why did you thought! So we now know you are the main culprit!!😂
That skewer was the first thing I saw before the blunder. Really big blunder for someone of his strength.
This blunder is unexplainable
Why does nodirbek keep closing the cap of the pen after every move tho 😭
nervousness exists
OCD. I do the same.
OCD i guess
love the commentator 🔥🔥😌
Gazini bos Nodir❤🎉🇺🇿
Arjun is good guy who does job which Gukesh could not do.
My heart goes out to this amazingly talented Indian kid for whom it was so near yet so far!
Gukesh bashers- have a second thought!
Everyone including the topmost players do make unfortunate blunders from time to time. 🥺😰
Yeah Subbu, I love Arjun- The play maker.. i just love him and I see him as my best model. Ok, Let the impressions be the foot steps of this sparkling guy
ohh, i rushed on my comment.. fair enough.. no comparisons please in this noble game. Gukesh from my state and for some reasons, I go simple
What a game!
First time ever Nodirbek Abdusattorov beats Arjun Erigaisi with white pieces everytime he had beaten Arjun Erigaisi with black and with with either he used to lost or hold to a draw but this is the first time ever he Beats Arjun with white pieces congratulations 👏
Such a nice guy
Great content and channel
Very well played Arjun. It was his blunder but he fought great. Nice commentary by Sagar sir too. I watch ur videos daily and enjoy it a lot.
now that is what you call a blunder
The pain in Arjuns face.. I really felt it.. having made similar blunders many times
Same error done by Gukesh vs. Nodirbek before, it was Qb6+ and the Knight was gone!
Excelente apertura de Nodirbek, muy creativo. Arjun transmite mucha tristeza con su gesto.
Tunnel vision probably. Been there, done that.
So much hard work and such a great event, then it all goes up in smoke with 1 move blunder... simply heartbreaking. But Arjun will come back from this.
After Be2, why not black moves ...Q × g2 ?
chess is so much better with commentary! lets go Sagar!!!
Arjun queen is already trapped in e5 why not Bishop g4 played??? Can someone explain
❤🇮🇳
Arjun is a good Gem
A huge blunder really
I think Indian chess players needs to be physically fit as well. Every player is a prodigy but when it comes to physical fitness they are on the downside. Chess needs more physical fitness in the long term which differentiates!
Indians are not known for their health 😂
I don't think he's going to recover from that one.
Really Arjun was very big bluder as achild
❤
17:28 it will be history
Arjun falters at the finish line .. this is becoming his problem. i think he cracks under pressure despite his cool demeanour...
He has preparation till move 30? 🤯🤯🤯
so kind to give hardstuck 2720 Abduwashedarov a win
Not looking at the board during the game does not help.
2 bishops in an end game are dangerous. Tread carefully.
I know this is backseating now but still, keep your King and Rook in opposite colors, specially if your opponent has the bishop pair in such an open board
gg
You can tell who is playing white and black based off their outfits
😂😂
255000$ is 38 million in kenya shillings 😅😅
Your a millionaire in our country
He said 25.000 not 250.000
Pragg where?
Not participated in this tournament
Sagar said magnus instead of abdusatarov 1:24
He was referring to a game played by Carlsen in the past where he’d opted for the move Nc3
He resign or offer a draw?
Arjun resigned. He blundered his rook, and would not be able to force a draw.
How to lose 50K dollars by moving a rook. Chess is brutal
That's why I say it's an young Uzbek who will become next Champion and none of the Indians will.
Only time will tell let's see😅
@smurug85 OK. Can u tell me what will be my future as well?
@@RB-pn6wn you will have a very lonely funeral 💔 😔
@smurug85 bro don't waste ur talent.
@@epiclover8639 brother what he is saying is truth i too hate it to hear that this Uzbeks i don't know somehow they are doing very well everywhere except pragg you can say. Indian players are very good but in critical junctions they are faltering on paper Arjun is very strong player same thing happened in olympiad with gukesh as well.
Менсимай уйнашнинг окибати шу булади Аржун
Too much bad manners by Arjun, always looking outside the board. He paid it, against the king of scams
Arjun has big time nerve issues it seems, meditation or counselling could help.
He plays blitz and rapid very well, I dont think controlling time and nerve is a problem for Arjun. 2700 rated players are hard to play and Arjun needs to adjust in this space. I am sure he will come back even stronger. Lets not forget he has secured many feathers in his cap.
It's understandable Arjun is only 2712 rating ❤
only? what you mean only? that is an impressive rating
even magnus blunders
@@KidJV इसे व्यंग्य कहते हैं ❤️
And now he is 2762 !
@runalkubitkar2930 I saw that and in the world top.5 🌎
🤦😂🎉🍾
😂😂
I don't know why Arjun's face always looks like this? arrogant?
That's his personality. He's reserved and soft spoken. Not everybody can be an extrovert.
You expect chess players to be always smiling?
At one time during the game he was cupping his chin, probably due to a toothache. If he gets cured of this, he'll have a happy mien and wouldn't make blunders anymore.
Fide need to stop blits and rapid
Why you cant reach 2500 fide rating gm status Sagar noob?
Because he doesn't want to.
@@randomverse1501exctly
Because he is doing better job for Chess than a 2500 rated player.
😂Sorry for your existence
Says a nalla berozgaar chapri who thinks he is pro
At this point, loosing in the last round is typical of Arjun lol
