I used to get loads of Hot wheels ( the card art is pretty nice on them) but then started buying Inno64, Poprace, Mini GT, Kaido house,Tarmac works, CM Models,Shuco etc and the level of details on them blow Hot wheels away! Plus i got fed up of never finding the cars i liked, the decent cars would sell out very quickly and the scalpers would have them on Ebay at Inno64 prices! I know Hot wheels are at a different price point but I'd rather have 2 Inno64 models rather than 5 Hot wheels premiums at the same cost (be around €50 for 5 where i am). Poprace/MiniGT are only a few Euros more than a Hot wheel premium and are far more detailed.
The inno is nicer but could get 3 prems for the same price. If some had $23/week for the hobby and had to choose, I'd say get whichever makes you smile most. However if money was not a factor I'd say buy a whole bunch of innos
Once in a while I get certain Hot Wheels Boulevards... but still don't get these comparisons. One is made for those that want near 100% accuracy, the other is made for 3 year olds as part of their market.
I have some HW and I will have some in future, so nothing bad, but just two things. To buy main lines - is useless. To buy premium or even more - RLC - is waste of money. I am waiting La Bugatti Type 59 in HW, it is something! But if we talk about other brands or in example inno64, that HW is only just waste of money and nothing more at some point if we will look in to quality :). So like this video. We need these kind of video to see differences, get better understanding and all other, but in general to talk about HW is waste of time. But we need to talk about it. But it's waste of time :D. All in all - amazing video and waiting for much more! :) Thanks.
Geezuz hotwheels are really milking the RTR mustangs. When you have them both from the front but looking slightly down (2:30), the hotwheels car looks more like a celica supra than an ae86!

Although Inno version is more pricey, I'd still go for it any day of the week. I've passed the point of collecting Hot Wheels and will never go back.
