I think the SciCraft SMP should at least be in good tho, they invert a lot of time and passion into technical minecraft
SMPlive (along with PewDiePie) sorta revived Minecraft as a whole, so it gets top tier from me. And don’t diss scicraft like that

Mind rack was truly the grandfather of this segment, I remember being super young and constantly watching it, I actually rewatch some of the older episodes just because of the nostalgia

HermitCraft and SciCraft are one of the most dedicated SMP ever, it should be on BEST tier.
I’d like to mention that Mindcrack crated the game mode UHC which would become bigger and bigger overtime.
It basically was first battle royale game ever if I’m getting it right

I would probably put Sci-Craft on the top. They put years of work and experimenting to one Minecraft save file. They even built their own Skyblock map on survival while obtaining bedrock with glitches... In terms if "Minecraft", yes, It would be the best. But in terms of lore and presentation, it would be a low one for me. But its an overall A-S tear for me.
Kinda disappointed that SMPLive isn't in the best tier, it was the first SMP I've watched and loved till the end.
I like how it's a monumental task to get into any of these things yet everyone probably wants to.

I like scicraft, but they just aren’t funny, they aren’t interesting. they are good Minecrafters, but they aren’t good CZcamsrs. They should have been at least good tier, but the dream smp is just all around more enjoyable, even if they only have two members who are actually good at Minecraft

@@julianthebagel2299 nah, it really good since it was just people playing Minecraft at first, most of the other servers had qualities that set them apart from the others. I think it should be second to top tier overall, but as of now it’s very stale and the lore is bad and no one plays
I personally really like shady oaks, its the first smp i started watching and im really enjoying the mix of how relaxed and chill it is with the upcomming story and the sudden hecticnes at times.
I think it's only gonna get better

Sci Craft doesn't put our videos often because they have to design and build something that takes the code and rules of minecraft and flips it upside down, inside out, and fucks it. Of course it takes time
But why can't they make videos about their process of flipping the code upside down, inside out, and... so on. ?

Dream SMP tries too hard IMO. So many members, storylines, etc and even though you can’t blame the smp, the fans are as bad as MHA fans.
I respect your opinion, but just because there are bad and weird fans doesnt mean there arent good fans.
The problem is the fans, some youtubers of the smp cant handle all the hate they get, and they have tp change the script to "appeal" more to these toxic sons of a bitches

I’ve been watching hermit craft for quite a few seasons and I really like them and think it was well deserved and the dream smp was good for the first months but I don’t really enjoy it now

@@code_breaker3756 Case in point it was made in late 2020 and there's only like 6 to 8 episodes on each side. Unlike dream smp wich has like 14 to 20 episodes on each channel, still new to me.
I'm a bit confused on the reasons for some of your reasons. You mention "given its past" for Mindcrack as a reason for it going into Good, but you said that EpicSMP/Retirement SMP are in Average/Faulty "for now" because they might change for the better in the future. How does the timeline and history of an smp affect its rating?
an SMP might be medicore when it starts (like hermitcraft) but when bigger people join or as people change what they do on it. It will get better

SMPLive should’ve been best tier it revolutionized the SMP genre from being about the game to being about the personalities, and no modern story or creator based SMPs would exist without it. It also single-handedly revived Minecraft and inspired creators like Tommy to start playing SMPS, and kickstarted the careers of people like jschlatt

i love hermitcraft! i really dont think theres any smp that i hate. all of them are incredible. like i like smplive for the humour, smpearth for the growth of some of my favourite streamers, dreamsmp for the plot and my favourite, hermitcraft for the building :D
