Some people think walking about cemeteries is a bit odd, but I find it fascinating and well…..peaceful.
Having very recently turned 50 myself it’s made me think more about life… we’re all here for such a short time.. so make it a good one.

Thank you…. I totally agree, my mates think I’m nuts lol…. But I grew up next to a cemetery and used to feed the crows in there as a kid. So I’ve always loved cemeteries and crows. Same here turned 50 in January. I work for the NHS and also as a celebrant conducting weddings and funerals, so I guess that’s my path now. 😂 I was a special for Hampshire back in 93 for 3 years.

Where I live there’s a few celebrity graves and I find it odd that when they were alive people would hassle them for autographs and selfies yet their graves are left unkempt and in a lot of cases with no flowers on . Upon death they became the same as the rest of us

I’ve just been back tracking some of Unusual Things and the stars that have sadly 😢now passed. And didn’t realise just how many have succumbed to cancer. And quite a few that I didn’t know had passed. It certainly puts things into perspective. Given the times we now live in. When you look back. You’re really good at what you’re doing. And I really enjoy your channel. I’m of a certain age now. And it’s really good to look back over the years. Keep up the good work 👍All the best to you.

Just found your channel and now I'm hooked LOL! as you were in Highgate cemetery, and also have an interest for the supernatural, did you look for the place where the Highgate Vampire was supposed to be, from what I remember they debunked the story but still bricked up the catacomb entrance with mortar made with holy water and garlic which makes you wonder?

Paul I've recently discovered your channel and found it very thought provoking. The lives behind the gravestones are larger than life itself and some legends forever and yet despite of all their success and fame they all end up as a simple name carved into a piece of stone just like everyone else. While legends in life they become so ordinary in death and I find that sad on so many levels.

I just went back 3 times to check what I was seeing. Roger Lloyd Pack, I’m shocked, 😳 I guess because I watch The Vicar of Dibley all the time and the fact I never heard about it, I assumed he was still alive. My word he was hilarious as Owen Newitt on that show. Thank you for the laughs Roger. Although I am Australian I recognised the photo you showed of Jeremy Beadle straight away, although I still don’t know what from, so I’m going to googled him.
I don’t think anyone can forget the story of Alexander, his story is still as shocking today as when I first heard about. Thank you for the walk through. ❤️Jodie 🇦🇺

Great video. I found Roger Lloyd Packs grave by chance as I visited with an Australian friend who wanted to pay respects at a grave that turned out to be nearby. (Sorry, I forget the name of the notable Australian).
Was a great place to visit, to remember those who are no longer with us and as I did the tour, learn about others.
Side note, also a fascinating array of different art styles and the creativity often forgotten as gravestones are seen as macabre.
