    I've been following FCP Euro's build of their 850 BTCC tribute car. For those who don't know, they used the VolSquirt in that build. So this hardware has been track tested. I had no idea until I looked at their parts list.
    Good to see you back Matt. I'll be among the first to pick up one of these units.

      Yes, they are using this system. It's been running very well for them for quite some time now. They are also taking advantage of the VVT control. If you want to be added to my backlog of customers interested use the contact form in the description of this video to send me a message so I can add you.

    Have been watching for years and glad to see things moving on again.
    Was about to order a Haltech and associated sensors and wiring for my big power S70 but will hold off until you are selling the PNP solution. 100% heading your way once available!! Good luck

    Glad to see you back and doing well. You have been missed! Shop looks awesome, excited for you and the possibilities it opens up. Had to back burner M66 swap and other mods on my 98R due to work and family issues but now itching to get back to it. DW200 fuel pump is finally in thanks to help from Aaron on the housing retrofit. Will be needing a lockout when you have them available.

    • @SimplyVolvo
      @SimplyVolvo  Před 7 měsíci +3

      Thanks! It took a few revisions to get the fitment right, but I'm happy with a metal case over plastic. The 3D printed cases were slow and difficult to manufacture and accounting for the cost of time, there isn't much of a difference in price so it shouldn't affect the overall price of the product.

    Hey bro,
    I’ve got a question for you, hopefully you can assist.
    I’ve been following your channel closely and it’s been motivating to say the least 😊
    My question, for my P2 XC70, I’m planning to add power, but the main concern, is transferring power to the wheels AWD. In looking at Quaife(lsd, maybe even trans), Elevate Volvo (Block) & your possible billet angle gear, do you honestly think it’s possible to build that platform reliably for 500hp+?

    • @SimplyVolvo
      @SimplyVolvo  Před 6 měsíci +1

      My billet angle gear is only for 94-00 P80s. P2 angle gear is slightly different... however for 500hp goal you have stock P2 drivetrain (trans, angle gear, axles, etc) will be fine but only from a roll. You could maybe get away with some launches. Quaife front LSD would be a nice addition but definitely don't need their sequential trans for 500hp.

    Been following you for years and I think since the old VS forum days. You are doing great work. Going to need a lockout myself soon for my 2000 ME7 M66 swapped car. Are you planning to do a Megasquirt solution for ME7 cars?

    • @SimplyVolvo
      @SimplyVolvo  Před 7 měsíci

      Thanks for all of the support over the years! I'll make another video when the lockouts go live. I want to design a PNP ME7 system... but I need to focus on getting some of my current products up for sale first and finishing up my new shop. All of the profit from the current products will go back into the business for R&D on new products such as ME7 systems.

  • @deimosian

      Not yet, I need to focus on getting what I have already developed up for sale. Might have to take you up on your offer, but really I am looking for a cheap beater I can buy. Never know what could happen during development and I wouldn't want there to be one less V70R in the world 😬

    • @SimplyVolvo
      @SimplyVolvo  Před 7 měsíci +1

      Thanks! The case upgrade would be possible, but I would also have to upgrade the PCB as well as I've added some additional mount points. The MS3PRO module can be reused as is. I believe you were the very first person to purchase one when I originally went live with them in 2019 :)
