OUTSTANDING VIDEO! Very well done. I had a basic, shaky grasp prior to your video, and now I feel very confident with my understanding of the information. Thanks again, you’re an excellent teacher...
Thank you. I found this short video you made very useful and it helped me with my studies. Once again thank you.
Very clear and simple explanation. One thing for people to keep in mind trying to increase voltage, anything connected to this system when doubling/tripling/etc, be sure the components connected are capable of handling the increase. Example: a lot of people running Power Wheels or similar Ride-on vehicles for kids...they'll drop an 18v tool battery or run a series of 12v7ah batteries like in this video, and they'll fry all the components either immediately or within days of use. Motors, ESCs, audio/lighting, etc are all set up for 12v WILL FRY and catch fire if you run even 16+V to them.
Thanks buddy. This is the best explanation of battery wiring that I've seen on CZcams.
The Radical Reformer
Thank you. Best video and easy to follow. Just what I was looking for.
Thanks for a well explained tutorial. Excellent work👍
Thx men, really appreciate the video. helped me setting up my setup.
Great, simple, clear video. I was thinking that, while you were showing the voltage increase between two batteries compared to one, that using the term 'potential difference' instead of voltage would make a lot of sense because you can physically see that the potential has doubled when they are wired in series. I don't want to suggest there's a direct relationship between physical size and potential difference, but the additional terminology can be useful.
thanks michael for sharing knowledge
Thanks mate, great vid.
Thank you so much for helpful video... well precise and clear
Thank you for explaining it so understanding and simple God bless
Good informative video , thanks.
great video man ... very nice
Very educative and explicit! Can invert-er be connected the way you said electrical equipment should be connected in the parallel connection?
This is really helpful. I wish you would just do one for 36 volt for a boat trolling motor. Thank You
exellent video
i need to connect 2 batteries in series with my ups desktop. how to🤔
Thanks for the knowledge
Thanks mate very good advice from Rick in bundaberg Queensland
Hi thank you very much for this video. I want to ask you.. I have 16 x 12v, 200ah and I need 2 sets of 8 x 12 to get 96v 200ah then put them in parallel to get 96v, 400ah. I understood that for the load you need to put them to each end. How about the charge controller? Should I connect it at the same end?
I need to make a ebike battery and your video helpedmy question is how do you charge a 48 volt which is for 12 volt batteries wired in series how do you make a charger for that
excellent video thank you
Great but if I have to connect an 1500w inverter, I have to use the other 2 terminal opposite to the connection you show in the video??
Very clear explanation...tnx very much
Nice information.
Nice explanation
Great video, I'm planning on getting 4 6 volt 4.5A batteries to get 24 volts and i beleive my amps should still be 4.5A, my question is a laptop connector (18.5V 3.5A) Work for charging them?
Thanks great video
thanks for this videos
Can you answer me if I can mix different Ah ratings together?
*Background* is: I have an EATON UPS with three 12V batteries in series, and I have three VRLA 12V batteries with 7Ah, 7.2Ah and one with 8.5Ah (BP7-12, LCR-127R2PG, YU NPW45-12)
A good job friend
Well done.
You didn't mention the amp increase when you ran the two set's of 24 volt in series, the voltage remains the same, but the amperage increase's, doesn't it ?. Thanks for showing the proper load lead from one end of the battery sets to the opposite, now I know how to connect my two set's of battery's to the load.
Nice Information 👍
clear and to the point .TU

Hello I need help
I have 3 4v (12v in total) batteries in sequence can I use 12v 1 or 2 amp charger ? Adapter charger*
ok so i have 6, 12v 7ah batteries. i would like to connect 4 batteries to create 48v and i know thats done with the series method. the other 2 batteries can be put into parallel to bring up the AH correct? so follow formula neg to positve to 4 batteries and then remaining 2 batteries neg to neg pos to pos for higher AH ? am i right? while connecting the 2 ends to create the power neg end to positive end?
Hi I bought 2 batteries of 6 volts each, but I need to use 24 volts for my project.
My question is: can I add a 12 volts battery to reach the 24 volts I need?
I will really appreciate for your attention.
Having seen a number of Vid's, on this, (Some were WRONG!) You confirm what I thought, I hope you, (and me) are right. I am sure "We" are, so thanks.
Can I make this for series and parallel connection for a 48v 1500w BLDC motor about 35amp

I found this video very useful but I'd like to ask one question how do you charge the series of batteries do you have to do them individually or can you go on as a series? Can someone explain this to me
Michael Wolfe same as load. If you push current it will charge. I’f load takes current it will discharge. Get a standard 2-5 amp charger based on your voltage range.
Please, I want you to illustrate with a video of how to connect 6 12v (any amps) battery in series parallel.
So,
you put 4 12 v 7.2 amp batteries in series to get 48 ish volts.
Basically a 48 v DC battery 7.2 amp.
Can you take an identical array of
12 x 4 = 48 in parrael to the above to have 48 v and 4 x the AHs?
Will it be better to hook the batteries inseries or parallel cause I'm using them for a 500w ebike. Can I use two of the exact same Scooter/Motorcycle batteries with a 750w Power Inverter to power my 500w ebike ?
So if I wire my batteries this way, l’ll have to get a 12v to 24v reducer for all my 12v appliances correct? Do I also have to connect it to my 12v 120 inverter?

i give you subscribe and like anyway 😊
Thanks
you could have also mentioned the amount of both Voltage and Current thru those circuits.
and whats the difference in volts, and the difference between volts and amps??
I have a question. When I plug my coffee machine in...my inverter just beeps. Won't run my coffee pot. I.m wired neg to neg...pos. To pos. Should I change it to neg. To pos.?
What size inverter you have and what the amp on your batteries? Your inverter might now be strong enough to power your device.
This video is all you need to understand how this works. Some people are just rediculous with how much time they take to explain absolutely nothing, not this guy.
How do I charge 4 12v led Batteries wired in series

I just wanted to know that four 12V 7Ah battery can be connect to get 48V 28Ah??
www.enerdrive.com.au/connecting-batteries-in-series-or-parallel/ i found this helpful
A better way to hook batteries in parallel.
Line up all the batteries and solder all the negative connectors together with a single black wire.
Then solder the negative end of a diode to each of the positive connectors. Then solder all the positive ends of the diodes together with a single red wire.
This protects all the batteries from being fed by any other battery. They feed and charge independent from each other.
This way is preferred as there always seems to be one battery with a bad or weak cell.
What is the name of the double clamp cables bad where can I get it? Thanks.
I dont know what its name but ppl usually know if you say mini crocodile clip. And you can find it in any electrical shop and also at motor workshop.
Alligator clips ...... electronic shops
@@MrAcc45 Thank you!
👍👍
You failed to mention what happens with the amp hours when connected as a series AND parallel.
