I can understand your point, but if you notice, many of mareg's opponents fight the same way. The IS at the end of this video does it. And many more of mareg's opponents in many of his other pvp videos do the same thing because they are either trying to recover and launch a counterattack, or are baiting/playing mindgames to catch them. That's also why they hop around so much; basically, it's a game of chicken. Who charges in first? While it can appear to be running, it's actually baiting them.

Even then, if you did the same thing all of the time, you'd become easy to read. So mareg goes from offensive to defensive
