You might have been thinking of the Incarnation of the Lord Jesus, another name for the solemnity of March25 (The Annunciation) . But agreed it is powerful in its proximity to Divine Mercy Sunday, bc Jesus took on flesh, the flesh by which we receive His blood and water, His mercy, our salvation. Thank you for sharing your very Life with our Lord, dear Mother Mary. This whole Easter octave along with the Incarnation is like a circle of utmost Holiness, containing the entire history of salvation, from life to death to resurrection - an eternity of grace.

You are all right now paul,go in the peace of christ.12 words,that is what i heard 6 years ago,or rather felt it some how.did the divine mercy thing.confession,mass and 3 oclock service.left the church as always smile and get a bulletin of a usher.in my car about to pull away,that is when it happened,i felt thoes words so strongly i almost went the wrong way on a one way street.pray my rosery dailly,mass 3 time a week.i go every year to divine mercy sunday,hopeing to fell something again.but no,i guess the lord doesnt have to repeat his self to me.one time shot.now when i see some one going the wrong way on a one way,i dont get angry,i just laugh,i know who is . speaking to him.

It's not easy for him as he's the director of the Franciscans in Havana where I live. Imagine he's Irish and since he came to Cuba 2018 the work he has done to bring people back to the church is amazing. He has a great personality and since I only discovered Stockbridge during Civil he tells people I left him for Fr. Chris. Thankfully he came about 2 hours ago and I got confession and communion. Satan has zero power God is all powerful. Satan may make friends with those who love him but they give him their God given power Satan is given the power of God through the souls that seek him. Staying in the state of grace after confession to far in advance(sometimes thats simply a day or 2) seems impossible. I'm trying to find a parish in our area that offers confession the day of Divine Mercy Sunday ,its just not available.
Confused- I went to confession before Easter.. so when I go on Divine Mercy Sunday am I confessing my sins from this last week? I know not to reconfess.. so should I have waited and not gone a week ago? Should I wait each year and just go on Divine Mercy Sunday since that offers more graces??
As long as you are in a state of grace That confession suffices. But if you do go to confession on Divine Mercy Sunday, which is a great idea, You only have to confess the sins since your last confession. God bless you

You can go on the day before which is Saturday where many churches have confession
