This is just like my Beef tips and noodles that I make. I use all the ingredients you use and add burgundy wine. Itâs so awesome. My husband loved it.

I have a recipe that is very similar to yours. It calls for stew beef, cream of mushroom soup, a packet of Lipton onion soup mix, mushrooms and a little milk. Mix it all together and cook it in the crock pot on low for 6 to 8 hours. I serve it over noodles, mashed potatoes or white rice, so yummy! I serve a side dish of salad or green veggies.

Hi Gina I Love this it's a childhood dish for me as well. I made it a house hole meal my children loved it. I didn't use mushrooms but I did use cream of mushroom soup.

On an unrelated note: The last time I made bratwurst (not for bangers 'n mash, just to put on buns), I tried that bit where you boiled the sausage before frying it. Excellent idea to make sure the brats are cooked thoroughly thru, and did nothing that I noticed to affect the flavour. Happy New Year, glad you're better.
