I remember seeing game magazines praise the quality of the artwork back in the day. Too bad the rest of the game doesn't live up to that level of quality...
The sewer level can be skipped by using the horn right at the beginning. This works because the exit of the level is at the other side of the wall and the hitbox of the player extends to the exit while using the horn.
Love how the ending of this movie completely contradicts the ending of the original movie. It was probably made before the movie was finished. so they didn't even know half of the plot. If i fixed that ending he would take the mast throw it away and kiss the woman while his friend and the dog fight in the background for the mask. Even if it's not accurate it represents the same scene
I feel that voiceover would ruin it. On very rare occasions they narrate their run in the captions and I really wish they would do that more often, as the "explanations" that they link to in the descriptions are almost always so confusingly worded and verbose they don't explain a damn thing.
yea I'd probably indeed ruin it with voice comments, some tricks aren't viable to be explained live because the time is too short. If you're curious about some trick i hope i've explained it decently in the submission text
One of the most underrated sprite work I have seen on the SNES
Friggin for real! Didn't really like the game when I was younger. But I always loved the animation

On god
Am I the only one just in awe about the art in this game?? It really holds up...
From what I understand of the mask this is how a canon accurate play through would look like
A case where the adaptation is faithful to the movie
This game was so unbelievably hard when I played it in my childhood. My record was beating the third level.
I'm gonna tell my children this is Pizza tower
The fastest Sonic speedrunner vs the slowest The Mask casual player
Ironically Jim Carrey went on to play as Dr Robotnik in the live action films
This man just got called a "stand user" while apparently doing cocaine. Don't do drugs, kids, 'else you're gonna become this very same man!

I've never been so terrified of a TAS in a while.
😂
No matter how fast you are, you will never be faster than The Mask.
Those frames are so smooth
somebody stop him
absolutely inscrutable content here. can't get enough

Is he supposed to just say no to damage? That's what the Mask is known for, aside the actual gore in the comics.
Do you mean him constantly saying smokin' or am I missing something?
Who's the fastest thing alive now?
flash! no
zoom! no
the mask? *Y E S*
this is how jim carrey actually moves around

Upgraded Swagin' Outta here.
How can anyone beat someone like the mask? He's literally beyond the 3rd dimension
How does he skip the sewer level?

What is happening?
To this day, one of the best platforming TAS I have ever seen.
Wow he uh.,.... really likes elevators, doesn't he...
how do the bosses die so fast with so few hits?
Super moves
I wish these tas videos had voice over by the creators explaining strats and skips, would make it more accessible for ppl that haven't played the game

@@BrunoVisnadi1 thanks!
I honestly think it's a bit more entertaining to have no clue what the hell's going on
Only one creator that I know of did a voice over and that was the stamper brothers of donkey kong country
The mask is looking sus
Smmmmokannn
It's party time...P-A-R-T Why? Because I gotta!
The AI makes the in game Mask, move and fight like the actual Mask from the Comics and movie.
Vai sonic verde
Lol what a run eh?
Wtf
Very happy 😍💋 💝💖♥️❤️
It's always sad to see such fantastic sprite artists work on such shitty games
