My original display got damaged, so I went for after market lcd , In after market lcd (not oled ) face id not recognising ,while using original display face id stuck at times due to physical damage.And alas face id totally gone after gone to after market product .i.e (lcd)

Hi sir. For iphone X, no matter which display you choose to install, your face i shouldn't be gone. We recommend you check out your ear phone flex or dot matrix flex. Face id would be hurt if these flexes are hurt.
