Acidic soil is best for most of the plants. But few of them also like alcaline soil... It depends on the plant... One soil media cannot work best for all plants.

1. Vinegar - soil > no bubble = alkaline soil
2. Vinegar + soda - soil > bubble = acidic soil
If no bubble comes after two experiment then it's ph level is neutral.

My apple plants roots are drying, plant skin is fresh but collar and below collar roots are dying due to which apple trees are dying. Is it symptoms of acidic soil, should I add lime to land.

@@eknayisubah I used lime + blitox copper drenching to plants no result.
I used fungicide bavistin to roots, no result.
Thinking to apply hydrogen peroxide on land. Will it save apple trees.
Each year it is spreading almost out of 80 apple trees only 15 are left on that perticular land.
All other land is safe no such problem.
Due to over use of cow dung I think it has become acidic enen replanted trees in that land not surviving beyond two years. A apple tree takes about 15 to 20 years to get on giving fruits.
There is no effective solution to control root rot .
Even used drenching of tricoderma but no result.
On diging tree roots, roots are like dry wood black in colour.
I do not use Instagram.

I'm not an expert on apple trees and couldn't help much. But please don't try random things without finding out the actual problem. If you think that problem is with soil ph then purchase a soil ph meter to find the exact ph level of the soil and then decide what you should do next.
If the soil ph is fine then you can use a product called waste decomposer... Make a proper solution of it in 200 liters of water and then treat the soil with it... It is completely organic and will reduce the effect of chemicals and disease in the soil... It'll improve the quality of soil...
and don't trust every video on YoTube. Some people only work for views and not to help others...

@@eknayisubah will try waste decomposer. We use 12 -32-16 npk, 15-15-15 npk, urea, calcium nitrate, potash and cow dung as fertilizers in soil. Each year we change among these fertilizers to apply on apple roots.
Rot rot is growing as unsolved problem in himachal. It destroy trees in no time within few years.
Anyhow thanks will try waste decomposer also.
