The suggestion of a National Unity Government may have been a sound idea two months ago, but not anymore. It's been overtaken by events.
As of now, the exit is but one: *Ruto must quit!* It's nothing personal. The reason is simple:- he has failed in his core mandate; and worse, he has terminally jeopardized the condition of the country to an extent that he can't be part of the solution, more so as the President.
Let him not overstretch the patience of the citizens by forcing them to be permanently on edge, on high alert because of his violent attempts to cling to power. It's very draining, both emotionally and economically to the country.
