Brettski and the On Tilt Boys strode into the casino with a swagger born of dreams and a $4,000 bankroll. The neon lights reflected off their determined faces as they approached the blackjack table. Brettski, the unofficial leader, signaled to the dealer, and the games began.
At first, their luck soared. They played conservatively, doubling down only when the odds were in their favor. Within an hour, their bankroll had swelled to $6,000. High-fives and cheers erupted among the friends. Feeling invincible, they decided to try their luck at the roulette wheel.
Brettski placed a sizeable bet on black. The wheel spun, their hearts pounded, and the ball clattered into place. Red. Groans echoed as they watched their balance dip back to $4,500. Undeterred, they moved to the craps table, hoping to ride the highs and lows of the dice.
Brettski threw the first roll: a seven. The crowd cheered, their bankroll surged past $7,000. For a while, it seemed like nothing could go wrong. But the dice are fickle. One unlucky roll after another saw their winnings evaporate, leaving them with just $2,500.
Determined to turn their luck around, they sat at the poker table. Brettski, a seasoned player, went all-in with a full house. The opponent revealed a straight flush. Their bankroll plummeted to $1,000.
Sweat formed on their brows as they headed for the slot machines, hoping for a miracle. Brettski fed in the last of their money, the machine lights flashed, and the reels spun. Bar. Bar. Cherry. The payout jingled, but it was only enough to bring them back to $2,000.
With their remaining funds, they decided to take one last risk at the high-stakes baccarat table. Cards were dealt, breaths were held. Brettski turned over the final card, and their expressions froze as the dealer revealed a…

@GaryInHell it's not, it's just not disrespectful to fold the cards. High limits baccarat uses a brand new deck for every shoe. They toss the cards directly into the trash after each hand, it's believed to be good luck to aggressively peek the cards.
I've seen people fold them, rip them into small pieces, crumple them. Even saw a dude use his teeth to shred a card in half. They get thrown out regardless of if they're damaged or not so the dealers don't care one bit what you do to them. Eat them if you want to.
Just don't get confused and try to do that at min bet tables.

When you play high limit baccarat most casinos let you rip the cards or fold them, they don't mind

@@diegoisreal2476 they put a decks in the shoe and then they have a little bucket next to them every time the hand is over the dealer takes the cards he used and he puts them in the bucket and after the shoes over the empty the bucket and they basically have a staff that can take out all the cards that are not torn or bent and they can use them, everything that's torn or bent gets thrown away and everything that's in good condition stays in a separate drawer and they just form new decks out of the used ones by the end of the night, there's been many times I would see floor sitting with about 10 decks in front of them creating new decks out of the used ones so for example if somebody ripped up the king then they'll just find a king from a different deck but in general most of it gets thrown away, here in California they go through thousands of decks everyday because they allow you to rip the cards if you want
