VIDEO DESCRIPTION
The first part of the circular journey is finally here. This was my first journey on board any morning Shatabdi between Chennai and Bangalore. I had traveled by the evening Shatabdis earlier in either direction. The video has many prominent skips that don't exist right now. Some of the important pieces in the video have been said below.

The 12007 / 08 Chennai Central - Mysuru Junction Shatabdi Express is a Superfast express train of the Shatabdi Express category belonging to Indian Railways, Southern Railway zone, that runs between Chennai Central and Mysuru Junction in India. It is the first Shatabdi Express in South India.
It operates as train number 12007 from Chennai Central to Mysuru Junction, and as train number 12008 in the reverse direction.
The 12007 / 08 Chennai Central - Mysuru Junction Shatabdi Express presently has 1 Anubhuti Class, 1 Executive Class, 11 AC Chair Car and 2 End on Generator coaches. It does not carry a pantry car coach but catering is arranged on board the train.
As is customary with most train services in India, the coach composition may be amended at the discretion of Indian Railways depending on demand.
The train runs with modern LHB Coaches
The 12007 Chennai Central - Mysuru Junction Shatabdi Express covers the distance of 500 km (310 mi) in 7 hours 00 mins averaging 71.43 km/h (44 mph) and in 7 hours 25 minutes as 12008 Mysuru Junction - Chennai Central Shatabdi Express averaging 67.42 km/h (42 mph) including halts.
As the average speed of the train is more than 55 km/h (34 mph), as per Indian Railway rules, its fare includes a Superfast surcharge.
Well done. It breaks my heart to see people pitching their trash out the train window, especially into the rivers and water streams. Must stop this bad habit.
I absolutely agree! There should be a $1000 fine if a person is caught and convicted of littering anywhere on or along the railway lines. Also, there should be a $1000 reward paid to anyone who reports someone for littering and that person is subsequently arrested and convicted. Indian Railways should not tolerate any kind of littering on IR property.

The video quality needs improvement as bright sun shine appears as moonlight. Titles are hard to read because of the colour. Pl make it bold yellow font.

The loco working the shatabdi is a WAP1 which is not the case now ..either the latest remodelled WAP4 or the monster WAP 7 works this train.
And from 3:30 onwards I see the train on the suburban down line which again is not the case now.
For quite a few years the third line was used up to Tiruvellore and then trains used to switch over to the innermost left road ( combined suburban ) upto AJJ. Now the 4th line has also been inaugurated so the mainline trains have nothing to do with the suburban traffic and have their own dedicated mainline down and up roads.
In fact one can know when coming from AJJ when Trivellore has been reached , by the train slowing down and entering the "third line " just after passing the road overbridge.

There is no shipyard at chennai!.Only the harbour inclusive of port!.Shipyards are to be found in Cochin and Vizag !.

It would be good if stations are given ranking as being done for cities. Top 10 stations and 10 worst stations. Criteria should be cleanliness, facilities, etc.
I don't know if anyone has suggested this already but it would be nice if you could do the interior look also simultaneously and you know like jugaad the two or something :P Good video

There is no non AC LHB train afaik.. The LHB train is Yeswantpur - Kamakhya AC Express :)
