15:03 after millions of miles and 41 years that man still smiles when he hears that truck. Find something that makes you feel that kind of joy in your work. As a fellow driver that guy is an inspiration
This trucker is on point with everything
I agree
I grew up in a small town in east texas in the 80s with a c.b. base unit always on in our home, my grandma always giving truckers directions to the local feed mills and wood mill. On rainy days she would fire up the amp and talk all the way to chicago! I couldnt help but to tear up thinking about these good memories that are forever gone like Brian said. I very much enjoyed this interview, thank you Brian for your service and everything else you have done for the industry and country, and i love the truck!
What town in east texas
Center,tx
I live in Sulphur Springs I’ve worked with some boys down your way worked for Brian harkness I haul feed for LNC in teneha some
I absolutely love this truck! I was born 1976 and I love the paint scheme and how this tractor is specd out! So cool its an original owner also.
Wow Chris, you outdid yourself on this one. Bringing a living legend like Foxfire to the masses is something special. I applaud you sir and of course, keep up the amazing work !!!!
What an awesome old timer. Awesome stories. Back in the day when you pulled over for a break down or a flat tyre there would be up to 6 to 8 trucks would pull up to give you a hand. That was awesome
Out of all the rolling CB interviews I have watched on the Big Rig Video's channel this from starship transportation is overall the best rolling CB interview i have seen
The sound of that rig put a smile on my face and hearing that professional driver reminds me of my grandfather . I’m still proud being trucker!
Good looking ride. Over 40 years old and looks brand new. Awesome!!
Your interviews are a breath of fresh air. These are the types of older hard-working and honest people I remember growing up being around. Keep your interviews coming!!!
I really enjoy the stories and experiences that come from the old school guys like this gentleman. Men like this are who taught me what I know about driving truck, and I’m forever grateful for that.
This video gave me alot of emotion,. Beautiful truck and the storys were brilliant,
The little drag race bought a tear to my eye man 40 year old truck still pulling strong.
I like to go through a lot of the old interviews. Men like these remind me of my pop.
That Pete is righteous. Sounds so healthy.
Sure is one fine three five nine. And of all factory paint jobs, THE one to keep!
Very good interview. I always love how things used to be back in the day and hearing it from those legend's of the highway.
Now here's a 'real' truck, and a real driver to go with it!
Spot on about ELD's. They're a danger to us all, on many different levels!!
Excellent interview, and that truck is Gorgeous!!
Great job Chris! Keep 'em coming!
if 14:18-15:40 doesn't give you goosebumps your not human
No aerodynamics, just brute power running against the wind
The jake after that second run probably made all the male viewers here ejaculate about 10 gallons of semen. Pure ecstasy.
I was thinking the same thing bro... MUSIC TO MY EARS!!!😍😍👍🏼💯💯💯
Chris, this has to be one of your best rolling interviews, beautiful truck and a true blue trucker behind the wheel. Thanks for posting 👍🏻
This may be one of my favorite trucks that has come along these rolling cb interviews and the owner, I think that this man is a “Class Act “
Hi there Chris, you keep raising the bar with these interviews and talking to someone like Brian is really important, it's kind of like preserving history and a great way of telling the young generation of drivers coming through now how truckers had respect for each other and how folks interacted together, walk into a truckstop dinner nowadays and look how many drivers are sat alone with an electronic gadget instead of real people. Personally i think i'm lucky to have experienced that era. Anyway another great job Chris, stay safe everybody. Pat. UK.
Wow what a survivor and when you look at the sleeper and how small it is compared to modern big truck greenhouse area. Now tri-pack and it is tidy! Great chicken lights and just a great old school rig. !!! Thanks for the video
Alan Gee try sleeping in a 36 inch wide "coffin sleeper"
Coffin sleepers are my favorite
@@kraigcochran9995 it's not hard

God I love an old-school Pete with a Cummins, that's one beautiful looking Rig. Awesome sound, the over-run & the Jake are epic. With equipment like that, you could only ever love what you do.

A really good trucking buddy of mine, an older gentleman, 71 yrs old, has a bicentennial 76 359. It was 1 of 2 sold at the Raleigh peterbilt that year.

Hey Chris, thanks for the great video . Brian is a legend , people in general can learn a lot from him , let alone the trucking industry , he is as great as his truck, what a roll model . I would love to met him and talk about how things use to be vs how they are to day, I'm sure I could learn a lot . Thanks again, a great one .

Nice to hear a real trk driver talk, I'm a truck driver myself but haven't evperienced as much as you have, you have common sense, I scratch my head all the time today wondering were it went, love ur trk, choice of engine, and the 3tone beautiful trk, thanks so much
Amazing video like always!
Who remembers when truck stops had the phones in the diner. The payphones, collect calls...........
Arthanza McGhee.... Ohhhhh just wait a few days, there is a video coming that addresses that
I remember that🖒
BigRig Videos That's going be cool
Every morning you had to stop at a truck stop and wait in line with the rest of the truck drivers for a turn on the payphone to call your dispatcher. Best truck stop had a phone at every table in the restaurant but most of them had a "phone room" with anywhere from a couple payphones to dozens depending on the size of the truck stop. You either used a 1-800 number or used a prepaid card.
+I Matte yes sir!!!!!
This is one of my favorite videos!!! Beautiful Pete...
Love the sound of big rigs!!

What a true good ol' boy! Hit the nail on the head
I remember waiting by the base station for dad calling saying "I'm coming home" whether it was with ma or grandpa. Grandpa turned dirt, dad ran the roads, I guess I'm a good cross of the two because I do both.
