Teya Dora has aboslutely winning potential! The reasons are: First its magical and unique, also has a catchy moment of "mantra Ramonda", and gives the true emotion to the listener.
I dont think Europe is hungry for speed up songs as we have sooo manyy this year. Ramonda will stand up a lot and will do great moment in Malmo, mark my words.
I would not compare with Iolanda as Teya is more intimate, emotional and gives unique moment being herself only on the stage.
    Go Serbia, you picked well!👏👏👏👏

In order for a singer to be noticed, she doesn't have to be half-naked and scream in all directions. Teya Dora took the stage and sang this wonderful emotional song and won many hearts with her modesty and beautiful voice. Well done, well done. We are rooting for victory 🇷🇸

I like the story of Serbia's 2024 entry. Her song was viral worldwide last year, and then the following year she got to represent her country at Eurovision with a song about Serbian national flower. Beautiful. She was doing rap and no one even thought about her as potential Eurovision representative until last year.

When Marija Serifovic won Beovizija 2007, Serbian people were not supporting her. They said that she is fat, lesbian, who is she, etc. And actually Marija won ESC that year. Now the history repeats with Teya Dora. So i hope she can win! Lets go! 🥳

Here are the lyrics in English. Hopefully, I managed to make the lyrics rhyme but to stay faithfull to the original.
    RAMONDA 🌸
" There's no, there's no peace for me
    Restless, sleepless with no dreams
Night forbids the dawn to come
    Hardest for the lonesome
    Underwater, silent and bound
    I scream but i can't make a sound
Above the hills there is a light
I see no end in sight
Only wounded can walk this path
There's no guide to take me far
Into brightnes of the Morning star
    World in flames
    Flowers burned away
    Where've they gone from us?
    Lilac Ramondas
    Lilac Ramonda x8
There's no guide to take on me
The stars are gone, they fell asleep
    Even prayers wouldn't console me
    Where've they gone from us?
    Lilac Radmondas
    Lilac Ramonda x8
    From the ashes rising high...
    Just one Lilac Ramonda. "

Here is the text in English, but I will give you also some insight, so that you can understand. The part of feeling and sensation will be lost In translation, but it should work
    "I don't have, I don't have, I don't have
I have no peace, no sleep
Night don't let the day to come
It is difficult for the one who is alone
Everything is quiet like under water
I scream but it is not heard
Behind the mountains, a white glow
I don't see the end in sight
This is the way for the wounded
And there is no one to guide me
Towards the light of Danica star (Northern star)
    Everything burns, everything burns;
    Every flower, every flower
Where did the Lila Ramondas go?
And there is no one to guide me
Because the stars are all asleep
    Not even prayers help
Where did the Lila Ramondas go?
    ......
    It rises from the ashes
    One lilac ramonda"
During WWI, the complete Serbian army was forced to retreat from Serbia, via Albania to Greece, in what was one of the most horrific withdraw in known history, where many died from hunger, illnes and attacks ftom the Albanian gangs. Later. From the coast of Albania, allied ships were transported them to Greece. Some ships were attacked by Germans and a lot of Serbian solders died under the watter.
In the Greek island Corfu, Serbian army recovered, but still thousands of them died from exhaustion and illnes. When there were no more empty land to bury the dead on Corfu, they were buried in the sea, which is known in Greece and Serbia as the Blue tomb
When recovered, Serbian army broke Thessaloniki front line, moving very fast thus leaving allied troops far, far behind while destroying Germans and liberating Serbia.
In WWI, Serbia lost almost 1/3 of its population, and 60% of male population
Ramonda Serbica and Natalia Ramonda are the flower of lilac (purple) color, that can dry out completely when conditions are bad, and it can resurrect again after a long time with just a few drops of a watter. It is also called the Phoenix flower
So I hope that I can help you understand how heavy this song is, but still full of hope
The terrible situation in which the Serbs were, but even though it seems that the lilac Ramonda have disappeared (for Serbs, that flower is a symbol of faith in liberation), still one rises from the ashes (faith in the beginning of liberation).
On Serbia's liberation day, people are wearing the Ramonda symbol on their dresses.
In the official music video for this song, at the very beginning there is a message in English: "The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it" or in the translation "And the light shines in the darkness and the darkness did not overcome it" which is the text from the Gospel according to John 1:5. It further reinforces the message of the song and indicates the artist's attitude.

The song 🎵 Ramonda = flower 🌸🌸🌸 metaphorically describes suffering of Serbian nation.
They suffered 5 centuries under Turkish occupation and managed to survive and save their identity.
In WW1 1/3 of the population and 60% of male population was murdered by Bulgarian, German and Austrian army...and they didn't announce a capitulation but the nation, led by the king went in an exile via hostile Albanian mountains. After all the suffering between 1914-1918, they returned back victorious and liberated all southern Slavic nations (Serbs, Croats, Slovenians, Macedonians) and created a South Slavic land (Yugoslavia).
Another genocide happened during WW2, more than 1 million Serbian people were brutally murdered in genocide, especially in the Jasenovac concentration camp 😪😪😪
Ramonda flower 🌸🌸🌸 symbolically describes Serbian nation ... they love freedom and will resist any Hegemon
    🕊✌️ 🕊

Eagle's Nest is not pro-Russian propaganda, it is a song with soul and emotion which talks about recovery after losses. On global level but as well as on the individual, it talks about hope for a better tomorrow and how love, faith, endurance and kindness will defeat all the bad things in this world. The eagle is universal symbol of power, endurance, freedom. Andjela, the girl who sings the song is on stage in a traditional costume with wings and she was like an angel. Her name, literally, translated from Serbian means angel.Mine means hope.Greetings from Serbia.

The lila ramonda flower is the main motif for the Serbian emblem of Victory Day in the First World War. It is also known as the "phoenix flower", it is a symbol of the suffering of the Serbian people in the First World War, when almost a third of the total population died. They call it the phoenix, because it has the ability to "resurrect" again after it dries up completely and goes dormant when the dry period comes. A little water is enough for it to bloom again, and its rebirth is associated with the fact that Serbia "resurrected" and got back on its feet after a painful and difficult struggle...

In 2020 Victoria (Bulgaria) was one of the better songs and Roxen did fine in both years. Apart from the performance in 2021. So I wouldn't consider this a dark horse. I think this is a beautiful song on its own merits. It's not dated and indeed very different than most of the other entries. So I guess that people who are drawn to this type of music would vote for this. And a decent score with the juries also. There is no real competition for Serbia this year.
For me not a potential winner but definitely on my playlist. For my gloomy days.

I dont think Portugal and Serbia are competition to eachother. We alredy have few not as good songs this year like australia, molodva, iceland. Also poland, slovenia, ireland, cyprus arent sure q for me cause i dont see people voting for poland over serbia or portugal. Also slovenia doesnt have usually many televotes and now in strong semi final. And we dont know how people will react to ireland

I actually would have been more in favor of a louder, more progressive ballad with longer notes. The chorus is OK, but the verses are partially too numbly for me, but maybe it'll be different in the live show. But that's probably just my own personal preference. Serbia could be a borderline Q or NQ this year. I'd say 9th to 12th place in the semi-final. Of course, once it gets to the final, it'll receive much jury love.

Alike last year was singing a difficult song with some impressive vocals. That's why she got points. While this song has nothing rather than only a MOOD. That last comparison i don't agree with you on that. Personally, i don't see this making the top 10. Best of luck to her, though 😉
