I’ve seen living space above parking here in Tennessee and in Florida before, I agree it’s sort of unusual and I’m sure your heating and cooling bill might be higher from it being above unconditioned space
Initially I was thinking this 2nd floor space might be temp-controlled storage lockers that tenants could rent. But there are drain vent pipes coming through the roof so that does seem to confirm it's livable space. With so much exterior exposure, the cooling bills for those units must be outrageous.
@@hackfreehvac I think the units over the premium parking are the "affordable housing" units the developer had to build to satisfy the pink-hair women with big glasses over at city hall.
I wouldn’t have thought that a living space above garage parking would have been allowed. But I guess every state has a different policy on that.
Yeah I thought that was sort of odd for other residents to park under their home.
