Whats up my friend,
A lot of people now a days are investing in solar energy, Harvesting Sun's power to power some equipments or power their home, some are used as back up power system incase of brownouts , and some are used as their main power supply in thier home,
So in this video i will share to you my small offgrid solar set up , I used to power my home's lighting system, gadget charging system and basic house energy needs,
I am using a 200 watts photovoltaic module ( solar panels) which is 2 pcs 100 watts each and are connected in parallel and has an output of around 20v and current of 10 amps max, My solar charge controller ,(SCC ) was a 20 amperes pulse width modulation ( PWM ) wich controls charging voltages of the system . I set the float voltage at aound 13.7 v to charge my flooded battery.
I am temporarilly using a 3 sm car battery only , although its not recommended in solar applications , but proper consumption and cycle, voltage setting may also make it work perfectly.
The inverter i used was a modified sinewave 300 wats in actual capacity output,which then i used to power my AC devices such us fans, charger, etc.
I also installed some Dc breaker for for protection against short circuit which may cause explosion or fire.
