Simple steps on how to make Jump UP DnB. A beginners tutorial for Ableton but can be followed with other DAW's.
Just a note at 17:33 I had to disable the auto-gain feature because it made the bass quieter - they're working out this issue!

For me there’s good stuff in every genre.. it’s gotta have some swing.. or some kinda funk or something that makes you wanna dance… that’s what I’m trying to do when I play a set.. make asses shake!I agree with you on their being many jump up tunes that are way over the top and sound like a goofy circus vibe.. there are however many that are driving relentless and have some modicum of swing or funk etc.. I tend to prefer the older jump up to the newer stuff..that over the top vibe has become more of a thing over the last 10-15 years.. sure there was goofy stuff around back then..but much less it seemed to me..even still once in a while I’ll play a newer style jump up tune that has the circusy bass line and is still a dope ass tune.. my
Fave off the top is can’t hold me down.. by TC i think 🤔… anyways I love it all ! If it’s gonna get asses groovin tech step liquid jungle jump up intelligent I’ll play it!

Hi, I have a suggestion: it would be awesome if you could make a video tutorial of how to make a Jump Up bassline (any kind, Belgian, Macky Gee or Turno style) on Ableton Live's Waveform, so as to avoid using (or buying) Serum or any other wavetable synth. TIA

Hard to pick a favorite jump-up track. Always think of P.O.T. though. Trik-a-tek or Battlemaster are standouts but I love the restraint shown on the remix of "Soothe" by Furry Phreaks and Terra Diva. Makes it a hands down fave for me.
