Can anyone answer? What if she is the older sister leading a prayer for her younger brothers?
Question:
I saw videos in CZcams where speakers like Dr.Zaik Naik and others are of the opinion that women should do I’tikaf in Masjid. They quote the verse of surah baqra. Only hanafi Madhab allows women to have I’tikaf in home. Kindly clarify with detailed explanation.
Answer:
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
Women should not perform I’tikaaf in the Masjid. [i] [ii] This should not be difficult to understand.
The five daily Salah is Fardh. Rasulullah ﷺ advised women to perform their Salah in the inner most portion of her house. See the following Hadith:
Translation: It is better for a woman to pray in her house than in her courtyard, and it is better for her to pray in her private chamber than in her house. (Sunan Abu Dawood: 570)
I’tikaaf is Sunnah only in Ramadhan. When Rasulullah ﷺ advised women to perform their Salah in the inner most portion of her house, what can be said of I’tikaaf which is not Fardh, rather a sunnah and that too in Ramadhan?
Furthermore, consider the following negative expression of Rasulullah in women making I’tikaaf in the Masjid of Rasulullah ﷺ in his time:
Translation: Aisha Radiyallahu Anha narrates that Nabi ﷺ used to perform I`tikaf in the last ten days of Ramadan and I used to pitch a tent for him, and after offering Fajar Salah, he used to enter the tent.” So, Hafsa asked the permission of `Aisha to pitch a tent for her and she allowed her and she pitched her tent. When Zainab bint Jahsh saw this, she pitched another tent. In the morning Nabi ﷺ noticed the tents. He said, ‘What is this?” He was told of the whole situation. Then Nabi ﷺ said, “Did they intend righteousness by doing this?” He therefore abandoned the I`tikaf in that month and performed I`tikaf for ten days in the month of Shawwal.” (Sahih Al-Bukhari: 2033)[iii]

Someone please clear this for me.....praying in the "inner room" does that mean a separate room or anywhere in the home?
Hey this is false information. The scholar has a false understanding of the Hadith and is spreading wrong information.
Please listen to the two videos below for a clearer understanding. The first one is in Urdu, and second one is in English.

Mashaallah 😊😊
So why can ihtekaaf not sit in their room? Even this is not prohibited according to Quran and Ahadith?
What about Ishrak for women
The Quran stated cuma salah is mandatory for all believers. Please advise why hadith states differently
Because the Hadith is not the Qur'an but something written 200 years after the death of the prophet. The Hadith has cobtridicted the Qur'an many times so be careful sister.
All things in Islam made for women are for our best n comforts n few females have got education onlt to fight n create bloody chaos without even understanding the criteria n think they are feminist... I hate such females who create controversies for no reason... N then reporters have to run to zakir naik for clarification n then later blame him if they are not satisfied but Alhamdullilah he always get away thats the power of deen mashallah...
The Quran does not say women not go to mosque. He is spreading false information. The sahaba women used to wake up and go out of their homes walking in sewage water just to pray fajr.

Prayer for men and women that is wrong Allah says in Quran o you believed when u are called for Friday prayer go prayer does not say men only mosques is a place of worship for Allah so what the differences between men women Allah says we are equal
best pray men
outside mosque or inside mosque
Can anyone tell about that. Allah saying that. Salah is. Equal for everyone. Even if a person built that masjid. He is not allowed to stand in front line because he built that masjid. So regarding any lines in Quran. You can help me to know.
Wat will happen if women enter masjid ntng we all r equal in eyes of God rest all thses rules nd inequalities r created by ppl we r living in a male dominated society so dey r creating rules according to der convinence
Women can go masjid it's permitted but for them it is better to pray at home
I love this. Outside of Islam churches and priests are trying to interfere with women too much.
What about women praying eid prayer at home?
It is not *obligatory* for women to attend eid prayer. It is for men. It is a sunnah for women.
@@holdshiftt2run308 No rasoolullah(saw) said: eid salah for everyone... Men women, virgin women menstruating women too...children
@sofi arechi I said it is NOT OBLIGATORY for women. Learn to correct people the Islamic way instead of calling them dumb when you don't even read the statements clearly.
@@muhammudha7334 Actually, menstruating women were to keep away from the place of prayer but witness the gathering, yet it is still not obligatory for women to attend. Keyword: *obligatory*.
@@holdshiftt2run308 Prophet muhammad(pbuh) he emphasis all women to attend the eid salah in congregation.. Men only didn't fast in the month of ramadan...we all who attain the blessed month we fast...so eid salah for everyone....,I said what our beloved prophet said...,if there is any hadith abt you before said...mention in your reply for the sake of allah...and sorry to say this again and again...shaytan may do some tricks to create some conflicts us....avudhubillah..
So why is it better for men to go out and pray in mosque and not better when inside house?
Because she becomes a temptation for men. To save her from such eyes..and men tricking her.
@@fromhoodtohijabicode142 ummm, so women are just a temptation? We are serveant of allah, we are created to serve allah, Not to be a temptation for men. Disgusting

Why the negativity? If we approach knowledge with a lot of reservation, then knowledge will not be yours. Approach knowledge with an open heart and gratitude to Allah, and hopefully you will be able to identify the truth vs untruth.

I was able to perform 20 rakat of Ramadan prayer at mosque but too lazy at home! When I walk to mosque I feel good, I have observed My health got better and I felt well and I prayed well. I don't pray all at mosque but whenever I can. Mostly 1 or 2. I feel my iman gets better when I pray at least once a day at a mosque. Now, we pray in separate and mike. Not open courtyard anymore.

Alhamdulillah. Where are you from? In my country, women don't go to mosque and today my mother was telling me that we are not allowed. I told her we are allowed, but not sure if she believed me! She was telling nowhere on earth women pray in the mosque. I think in some countries it is permitted. I wish I could go to the mosque.
