Funny how Red Bull, Aston, and Williams are all represented in both the best and worst drivers of 2023
I suppose a lot of the time we compare teammates so if one is outstanding it makes the other look even worse
I do agree. But worst does not mean worthless, it simply means less talent and less luck. But these things can improve. You have to practice more to improve you skills and talent. And luck you cannot force, after a bad period comes always a lucky period, it's only a matter of time. Your videos deserve more views, but that also depends on luck, you have already a lot of talent.
Most definitely. I hope sargeant uses the off season to really prepare for 2024 and comes back even better than ever
I'm Incredibly Surprised Oscar Wasn't One Of The Best As He's Been An Absolute Beast Of A Rookie This Season!
He was right up there. I would say that post Qatar he got very unlucky and maybe didn't get to show off his talent as much which took away from the overall season
@@NotApplicableF1 Agreed
Wasn't it one of de Vries engineers rather than Nyck himself who made the "not a rookie" comment?
It was a combination. De Vries also said he doesn't feel like a normal rookie having won championships elsewhere and having been on the grid as a test driver for so long
Sorry my membership didn't get paid because I got robbed and had to cancel all my cards. I think I have sorted it with a new card now. Sorry 😊
Please don’t ever apologise. The fact that you even are a member is mind boggling to me. I hope that you’re okay though ☺️
Yeah I'm OK thanks. A bit shell shocked and xmas is cancelled because of the cash that was taken but all in one piece which is the main thing
Are you using Runescape music for this video?
Aston probably averaged the 5th best car over the year and Stroll came 10th in the championship so an expected result, Merc second over the year Russel should be in the top 4 so should be on the list. So Alonso definitely had a good season
I agree with your list.....non biased and on point. Most of the list just put up leclerc in top 5.....but he wasn't that good this season.
And this is coming from a leclerc fan. I love his racing....but this year. It was not top 5 for sure.
I feel like Leclerc is an honourable mention. He was definitely not in the worst but I agree also not in the best. Next year though I think he will be back at it!
I do agree with you list also funny enough my list is almost the same as mine when it comes to the best list.
My best list
1. Max Verstappen
2. Fernando Alonso
3. Lewis Hamilton
4. Lando Norris
5. Alex Albon
The only difference is I put Hamilton ahead of Lando Norris.
Also I have to warn you I know a friend name willf1sv5 he is very sensitive I did give him the same list as I type above I said Albon is the 5th best season and he said to me he should not be ahead of the Ferrari driver and Oscar Piastri he said because while Albon did well he said Albon could of gotten 6th in Australia and then he said Albon bottle points in Las Vegas.
I give you a warning on willf1sv5 also known as WillF1Gaming be careful with him.
Tbf, Will probably ain't wrong on Albon.
Other than Mexico where his suspension broke, what other major crashes did Kmag have?
I think Monaco and the Netherlands off the top of my head. I just remember it being a talking point around the summer break
@@NotApplicableF1 Hmm, guess the season is getting too long, lol.
You mean Monaco in those horrible conditions? Cmon! I think you are being unfair on kmag. He wasn’t good but the crashing is a bit exaggerated.
Are you being intensionally dense? That crash for kmag was because of a suspension failure and you blame that on him???💀💀
I would have put leclerc in 5th best and albon in 4th, and then would have swapped perez and devries
I was very very close to putting Leclerc in but changed my mind last minute
Yeah, there were moments (particularly at the beginning of the season) where Hamilton didn't particularly shine. Leclerc has been very consistent, being limited only by ferrari's car, and in the end managed to beat his teammate who is known for being one of the most consistent drivers in f1
I think placing Perez as worse than Zhou is quite harsh.
As for the best list, I would have placed Albon 4th and Hamilton 5th. Rest of the list I would have kept the same.
Hamilton had a number of crashes that he really shouldn't have (Piastry twice, Perez and teammate Russel).
In terms of qualifying he was occasionally good but not consistently (50% against his teammate). This resulted in a number of fights through the field that shouldn't have been necessary.
On the other hand Albon too made a number of mistakes (ie. crash in Australia), but he very much outperformed his car on many occasions. It is my feeling that he did so more often than Hamilton. So for me Albon 4 and Hamilton 5.
I can definitely understand both these changes I was very close to putting in Zhou and Bottas but decided to change it as I was writing the script. And Albon vs Hamilton is a pretty close call but considering the expectations and machinery Albon did incredibly.
Haas deserve to have their cars smashed for as long as they refuse to take F1 seriously. No headquarters, no dedicated R&D facilities, I haven't seen Gene Haas once this entire season. I get the impression his intention of running the team is to leech the end-of-year payouts and invest as possible in between. Absolute disgrace.
Also the reason why I warn you about willf1sv5 I do think Bottas and Zhou are okay this year however this willf1sv5 person said Bottas and Zhou where awful I do disagree given how bad there car has been.
As I said be careful on this willf1sv5.
The minute Bottas is mentioned, Will's head goes on fire literally lol!
I don't agree
Who would you have where?
first comment will edit after watching the video
Edit
Watch the video pretty accurate
😂
Love that effort! 😂
Perez finished 2nd in Championship and is worst than Bottas, Ricardo or Zhou. This video is crap.
What part of the argument do you not understand? Getting P2 in the most dominant car in history is the minimum expectation. Try explaining why he has such a huge gap to Max in pace, and all the mistakes he made throughout the year.
Sorry to say but your comment is crap.
