Damn, i remember with vanilla Fei long until ae2012, i was playing fei long aggressively. It would work, his aggression was bad ass. But when i faced, A, B+, B players my ass was tossed. I am more patient in ultra, but fuudo is the ultimate intelligent, patient honest fighter. I think Fei Long allows that, no tricks and gimmicks or vortex just pure fight game intelligence.

Itazan needs to stop using far LK xx LPGH o/s when out of range. Instead focus on far LK pressure strings and far LK ticks into extended LP SPD. Fei's also playing too close and using too much defensive pokes. Zangief needs to re-counter with the extended LP SPD off of whiff crouching and standing LP and LK and far MP. He also needs to U2 after EXGH to shut down Fei's backdash/jump/Flame Kick FADC nonsense. Needs better whiff punishing with far LK xx EXGH, like Snake Eyez. Also stop walking back and hoping for the whiff punish, instead stand his ground and block, and pre-empt Fei's attack with the crouch LP or crouch LK. Add kara LPGH for the win. Hagejin vs Fuudo would look like a different match.
kara LPGH: F, D, F + HK~LP. Gives the LPGH a significant range increase. Increases the start-up from 8 frames to 9 frames, as your essentially doing a Far Standing HK and kara-cancelling it into the LPGH. You want to press the LP, one frame after the HK. Form a grip where your HK finger is 0.5cm deeper than your LP thumb finger, and hit both buttons at once. The HK will register first, giving you the kara. The move is super effective to whiff punish medium and heavy pokes. Super fast as a surprise move. Devastating against Hugo. Can be used to give you a quick teleport SPD. You know you've got it when you can punish on block El Fuerte's Q-Bomb.
