Depends how you use it. I think the best is actually black electrical tape based on other artists like NAWER. I personally use masking tape. Blue tape is the worst unless you are working over a paper based cover painting as it tends to easily peel off right as you paint.

Where do you get your thin tape? Hardware or cut it yourself?
Hi Rebecca, Blick has all that type of tape. Use masking or stickier tapes or the paint seeps through, especially blues.

Ya, I probably did the music a bit too loud in this video. Unfortunately it only exists on YT now. I keep no video files long term on my mac. :)
