2023-04-22 Hang Gliding, Maiden Voyage Laber South, Germany, Oberammergau, Insta 360

My first flight at this site. It was great weather and although we all had additional obligations in the evening we made a short trip to Oberammergau to fly from Laber. I enjoyed it a lot. But the cameras both switched off rather early. No music this time, just a very short impression from the flight (Takeoff and immediately after).

Der Laber ist in geiler Berg. War selbst bisher leider nur 1x da, ist aber auf der Liste. Danke für die Impressionen.

Did it feel like wave-influenced? The only mid-level clouds look like lenticulars, or wave-induced cumulus.

Well, maybe a little bit. I’d say it was a good day with some things being different from what i expected. But it was my first time here, so i cannot really compare. There weren’t as many cumulus clouds as expected and there was a known wind from the south(west) over the alps creating the lenticulars.
