Those voles have no idea whose garden they’re invading 😂
They're starting to find out. 😉
Tango down.
Haha yes omg
TheKingdom The voles got a one way ticket to *death*
@@purpleplutonium1132 strictly it was two way.
“Give it a little flip” flips the vole into the 15th dimension.
miniZergling go back to league REEEEEE
I was looking for a comment like this one.
😂😂😂😂
-flips vole out of trap, vile flies and lands on head- "DAMN IT"
-Vole not Vile
1st flip: 10\10
2nd flip: 3\10
Agreed. The second one was like 2 inches from the hole.
and give em’ a little flip
*lauches one away*
Shawn really needs to work on his little flip technique. He really has gone off the boil.
Give 'em a little point 3:43
If he would have done a double little flip at the same time I would have lost my mind.. haha
Mr. Nicholas And this... is to go... Even Further... BEYOND!
* *aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa* *
I know he did a double flip recently. Pretty sure it was one of the 3d printed mousetraps. Or a similar double noose trap.
Mr. Nicholas i wonder how many ppl get that reference
Dizastermaster i wonder how many ppl know ssj3 lol
You seem to have an infinite source of rodents ! Do they respawn like in video games ?
you would be surprise how often rodents can reproduce and repopulate. not counting traps, rodents are a major food source for things like foxes, wild cats, owls and more so they can easily keep their numbers up.
We need more foxes.
+Macrouph
We used to have them, but they now work at the strip club.
xD
They probably just gravitate to his house as it is a source of food.
They just spawn. No video game needed lol
Give them a little flip. Vole still flying lol.
JDMTasMav "They say that on a clear night, you can still see that flying vole making his way to the stars."
Shiki Aura lmfao.
@@shikiaura has gone further than Voyager
It’s funnier when I see that this comment was written 2 years ago 😂
I'm loving these little flips
you should flip the cucumbers
srebmucuc
wolfiie gaming n-nani?¿?
hope they like cucumbers in china
@@kris_py xd, I get
Where are my GIVE IT A LITTLE FLIP SHIRTSSS?
Shawn can you give us a tour of your garden? It looks amazing and much larger than gardens most people have
asterpw id love this
asterpw he has a farm is what Ive heard
He live on a farm. His garden is probably huge.
asterpw my grandmothers garden wraps around the house lol
WHY DO THE VOLES HAVE TO BE SO CUTE?!?
Animate me The worst part of pests (in my opinion), is how cute they are. I won't feel bad after they're taken care of, but it sucks before and during
I know! Their faces are just to cute 😿
they are streamlined versions of the mouse!! aerodynamic for tunnel digging, he should keep some as pet actors!
Ö
Aerodynamic for tunnel digging? I think that you may have mixed your metaphors up there. Streamlined for tunnel digging is OK.
Can't wait for more outdoor historic traps.
Some of my favorites are the native methods.
Alot of those people report😒😒😒
yeah too bad i really enjoy them
Krista Johnson yeah i hate that
@@kristaj428
Report what please. I tried to figure out the conversation, but I couldn't get it. Thank you.
I am doing between 4 and 5 videos a week. So if you want to see how to give a little *FLIP* to mice rats squirrels Chipmunks Moles *VoLeS* ans gophers. Stay tuned
He *FLOPS THEM*
He fliorps them brother
Give it a little flop
starshipeleven sarcasm
but.... but... you have to point at the vole 3:44 :
"...Moles 👉 VoleS and gophers..."
Nice video. We've been doing this for years on our farm. But we just drill the holes in the trap out ourselves and just cut a piece of PVC pipe in half to cover the traps up. And even cheaper solution for PVC would be coroplast or corrugated plastic. You can find it at most hardware stores. Hope this helps, my friends 👌
That looked like a piece of plastic downspout, might be cheaper than pvc
Jonathan Rogers That's what it looked like to me. he starting hammering in it and I'm thinking, that's just a rain gutter.... But hey, worked really well it seems.
Jonathan Rogers that's why I said corrugated plastic at your local hardware store. That's exactly what a gutter and downspout is brother
CapnHolic read the comment above this one☝️☝️
Not exactly. Not even approximately.
Corrugated plastic would bring to mind those wavy sheets of plastic (or perhaps similarly shaped fiberglass/acrylic plastic composite), or else that strong corrugated cardboard-like analog in plastic (the stuff they often use for real-estate and election signs and other signs, etc.
Rain gutter is a bespoke extrusion (or on-site roller or other process) material with a single U-cross-section, and is what we're seeing in the video. They may, or may _not_ ,incorporate some corrugation on parts of that cross-section to impart linear stiffness, but they are not corrugated plastic per se.
We need a trap that automatically gives rodents a little flip.
LOL
Great video.
TWO ! Flips. :)
True professional!
Just ordered some of these Vole traps seen in the video. Thank you Shawn for all the research you do into the traps. I never would have bought them without seeing them in action. Love your channel.
I'd suggest a longer cover and multiple snap traps each side of the hole - that way voles climbing over their dead friends to get out would become flippable too. Even just two traps each side would double the speed of elimination. If the traps were secured to a plank it could remove the necessity to nail each trap to the ground. One could even use a small sheet made of plywood with a hole that went over the hole in the ground - or some flexible material that could accomodate uneven ground surface.
There must never be a dull moment with Mr. Woods, seems like there's always something to do with him, either taking care of the fields, as well as all the pests, and also hunting. Must be a healthy, active lifestyle.
Stomp Chunkman One of the coolest for sure
all the kids love him, except for the offspring of the pests
this guy's video has saved my garden. I followed his instructions for placing two mouse traps face to face at the hole and covering them with something so that the vole has to go into the traps. Brilliant. Thanks so much.
Hey shawn i watch ur videos not because i have rodents but because its satisfying to see the traps.
Let me see that little flip again
You are my hero! I love these videos. When Im feeling down your videos always pick me up. I appreciate you
I ordered 2 of these traps last week after setting the traps I got a vole within 4 hours thanks for posting this video
We have caught 38 so far since the summer using this method
Very informative videos. I have especially enjoyed the playlist of the traps that you re-created from the book from 400+ years ago! Thank you.
I'd say this is one of the most ingenious but simple design trap I've seen. Up there with the walk the plank trap.
Do you toss the carcasses out for predatory birds? We have several in our area and a huge owl. I like to feed the owl, we have had some cool interaction over the years
Hi Doc, that's the second best beard I have ever seen
yeah he leaves them out for scavengers.
thank you, its the second best Ive grown
Yes, he has a video on that where an owl eats a squirrel I think.
Doc Ink he gives it a lil flip for a reason
That's amazing how well such a simple system works
I heard cutecumbers😂
Your mood is so great!!!
*Just started watching you and now I'm watching all of your videos!* keep up the good work!*
Thanks for enabling captions!
One of the best channels on CZcams. This flips for you!
Thank you Shawn again!
Great video. I like seeing you outside and setting the traps. I'm a new sub.
Nice cucumbers too!
My grandfather used nuts and engine coolant. He would sprinkle some nuts in the holes and a small trail to a dish with a mix of nuts and coolant. Obviously not the safest as other animals could get to it but it was effective.
I love your videos keep up the great work!
Yo Shawn! Keep up the good work with the videos! I don't even have problems with vermin but these videos are so damn interesting i cant stop watching!
Nice Garden you have there Shawn..
Awesome video, as always!
More gardening videos please! I loved the videos you put up on Native American heirlooms
That's actually a really good idea. And it just looks like a small piece of gutter downspout with one side cut off.
We made our own kit, and this summer we have caught 38 either mole, vole, or mice using this method! We have about four of them all around our yard, but there’s certain holes that we keep catching the most
with just a few more pieces from homedepot and slight modification, you could turn it into a 4-way trap
Everyday is Monday "
pj2005 Kentucky In here it’s always Monday. TGI Mondays.
Double lil flip
Nice garden you have there man! I want to plant some tomatoes myself but I gotta try this to get rid of my voles with these traps
Zusse
You gotta plant them when it's tomato season so you get the most tomatoes
Thank you, Voles a huge problem in the Sacramento, ca area.
Simple but genius method. You can tell that the guy is an expert. Can't wait to see you test the other trap.
Awesome video.
Thanks for so much useful information.
I have these pests, too! They do so much damage to our fruit trees, as well as vegetables. Thanks for the video and recommendation!
Yaaayyy the little flips are back!
That is exactly what I wanted to see !!
Wow absolutely what a surprise, two for the price of one attempt :) Well done !
Awesome! Thank you
What a great gizmo! Great job!
You are really charismatic, man! I can't explain but I like you
My backyard was overrun by voles until this random, very buff stray cat started hanging around my place and single handedly killed every vole
This cat just sort of walked into my house one day after that and never left so I guess he’s my cat now. His name is Tyrion, thank you Tyrion
Nice garden Shawn!
Cool idea. Simple and effective.
I'm looking forward to your video on squirrels! Thanks for sharing and making your awesome videos! = )
Even tho your channel is on exterminating pests I feel as if you have such a wholesome channel and it’s so refreshing to see someone who doesn’t really seem to be doing CZcams for the fame or money
Might need some of those traps, I’m dealing with voles in my garden as well
Andrew Dalton Ray just get two snap traps, nail them in, and get some cardboard or something, or like a plastic tub to keep them in the snap trap
I love your videos. I started watching them when the voles were eating my wife's EXPENSIVE bulbs. (the bulbs all look the same to me but She knows the difference.)The best cure I have found for voles is mole beans. We planted several around her flower garden and we place the beans in their tunnels. They have moved out to the pasture instead of the yard now. I love it when you build the old traps and catch mice with them. I hate that youtube demonetized your videos. That's why I "watch" them instead of skipping. I want you to get all the money coming to you.
I have a huge vole problem and I've been patiently waiting for you to test out vole traps. Trapline Products is actually local to me, and I've had my eye on their products for a few months now. I was hesitant to order in the past, thinking that I could just lay out my own mousetraps and find my own trap cover. I haven't been able to find a easy substitute for the cover at the big box hardware stores, but after seeing you test out the vole trap for yourself...I think I'll just fork over the money and pick some up.
This is surprisingly satisfying
As kids, we made homemade boxtraps and caught dozens of these voles. We always called them “bear mice”. The other kind of mice we referred to as “deer mice”.
Geez, how many rodents live on this guy's property??? He must own the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse
I love it when you just lifelessly stare in to the camera 😂😂😂😂
Your videos are just entertaining!
Saw one of the beasts in my garden today. Seems it is voles, not gophers. But there have been a few mounds next to holes. Mostly just holes. Maybe I have both. If only they would kill each other off! I can copy that hallway trap, though. Gonna try it.
wow nice work!
The little flips always need to be included. That's iconic for this channel ;)
Awesome video!
Nice. Couple mousetraps, an old gutter downspout and some thick wire, check.
Great idea
i would love to see more videos of your garden. i think its very intresting
to be honest, that second flip was meh.
lol I liked it when you pointed to the vole and raised your voice to emphasize VOLES ☠. ⚔▪️😄
You are the man flip. I mean Shawn.
Very nice, very effective.
lol man that's like the best trap ever. Any trap that catches someone right outside their house is unstoppable.
Well you nailed that trap. Simple BUT very effective. Cool
Very nice for small areas!!
Great for lawn and garden!!
Unfortunately not very feasible for crop fields or pasture.
That is incredibly clever, created with existing materials (no need to 'manufacture' just adapt) Nice!,
Double kill! Nice!
Vole eats cucumber.
Shawn "So you have chosen death."
Amazing double flip
Shawn: just give it a little flip...
Thanos: snaps fingers and deletes mouse
Two 'little flips' in one video. Brilliant
Thank you!
Hi Shawn enjoyed your video. I like to see the scenery around your home looks so nice and quiet. Always get a big kick when you say all you do is give it a little flip. And also when you say if you want to get rid of rats moles voles gophers stay tuned LOL. 🐁 🐀 👎🏽 🥒👍🏼Do you have a lovely family you have a lovely family
Hi Shawn I wonder if there is a way to make a trap for flies. So many BBQ ruined cuz the damn flies
Those ultraviolet lights that have an electric "fence" or have that mesh thing where you eat so they don't get in
It’s oddly nice to just watch these videos lol
Weirdly soothing
Little flip is legendary.
“And give it a little flip” should be this channel’s catchphrase.
Nice vid as usual
