Helene is one of my fav characters of all time… I wish she was the main protag.
Also my main beef with Brando is that he never goes there. He will set stuff up but then he doesn’t really let his characters make big mistakes. He tries to fake us out with like internal struggle and stuff but his main characters never do bad stuff. Not really. It makes all the good guys feel like goody two shoes lol
I'm going to start reading Ember in the Ashes, I just put it off for so long, never found the moment to read it. Now that you do, then I'll do it too. By the way, thank you so much for your videos, i love the music you insert as ambience, I love the images of you reading and the reading journal updates. It's great also when you visit libraries and shops. And somehow I never get tired of listening to you chatting about your opinions or your reading plans. You're great, Katie, thank you !!!!

I have all the books I haven't read yet on a separate shelf. Once I read them, then they get to move to their permanent home. I have another little shelf for library books too. This limits how many books I can buy and have waiting and also makes it easy to pick my next read.

Words of Radiance had me engrossed from start to finish. I'm completely hooked! I devoured the first book over Thanksgiving on a cruise, eagerly bought the second as soon as we docked, and, unable to resist, I'm already purchasing the third after staying up till midnight to savor the second!

I think you’d really like the rook and rose trilogy by m.a. Carrick, it is kinda lengthy with all three books being over 600 pages, but it’s so good. And one of the authors is Marie Brennan so that’s kinda cool
that's actually a series that has been on my radar recently!! i've heard really good things about it so i'm hoping i can pick it up at some point in time!!

Tress of the Emerald Sea was one of only two other standalone books last year that was a five star read. I enjoyed that book so much. I enjoy your vlogs so much ^_^

Blackwells is a great site to get the UK version of books, I’ve used them a few times and they ship to the US
The first emily wilde was better but I still loved the second one. I cant believe I have to wait a whole another year for the third one.
