"The music around me don't touch me no more, I can't feel the vibe" perfectly sums up my feelings of most new pop and rap artists, but of course Eiffel 65 is an exception because they are indeed awesome
Eiffel came out at a time when popular music was still worth listening to.
Música usada también para estudiar mucho

I looked in my nitendo switch dock. I looked in every room in my house. even under the bed. even in every house in the world. And i cant find who asked.
Quanta radice
love when the chorus jumps in towards the end. makes me think of stepping out on stage with millions singing with you as you look up to the heavens. tears in your eyes
"All the music around doesn't touch me no more, I can't feel the vibe" such true words
This song literally is describing the reason I'm here right now. And I'm a 90s kid.
OMG SAME
The last generation with decent music. born 1990 Dec
Ma che ne sanno i 2000!!
1990 may here . Best year ever

RIP Franco Battiato ☹️
Who needs the 80's stars when you have 90's stars like Eiffel 65? These guys are legends in my book, always have and always will be.
Yay this song is just a taste of the greatness😌
The text meaning is very nice too. It roughly translates to "I search for a permanent gravity center, - that will never make me change idea on things and people", but it also rhymes in Italian
The guy who sings is Franco Battiato.
The song says: I'm looking for a permanent center of gravity, that will never make me change my opinion about the things and about the people.
I should have a permanent centre of gravity.
Eiffel 65 commercialized the techno-music (recognize it from a big bass with not really a very fast rythm) using their electronic voice a style used by many Djs. Techno music is very popular in Italy.
Hope you enjoyed the comment. Peace to all of you.
He creep me out as a kid
12 years later and here I was wondering what this guy was saying. Thank you for your comment. Hope you are well after all these many eventful years.
Those man in a chroma
I looked at the information about him on Wikipedia and he died on 18 May 2021 at the age of 76.
The Italian bit is glorious. Great track. Awesome video.
Franco Battiato is the featured singer. Very popular in Italy with the +40 yr old crowd

As someone who does allot of 3D multi media design, this CGI has actually held up quite nicely over the years :)
its still a pain in the ass still looks good
As of 2019 the effects look so dated, you could say they even make an interesting theme with Franco Battiato’s original video.
Some parts look great for the time. The part with the door and wheels being the main examples but I think it's mainly because it's stuck at a 480 resolution hiding some of the imperfections
And as of currently, they look quite dated but I don't mind, for back in the time I imagine this must've been pretty advanced at the time, especially for such a small project like a music video. And nowadays the dated visuals honestly gives it more of a charm to the video and intentionally plays into the themes really well! Reminds me of an old PS2 game.
@@weeaboojo the door part looks like a vr game. Ahead of that time...
I remember listening to this song when i was a kid and i love coming back to it after many years :)

Eiffel 65 were legendary still are so underrated...

oh eiffel, if only you could predict what was in store for music just a few years later lol, if you thought the late 90s were bad
The 90s were great in general compared to what we have now -___-

Tbh 80s music isn't any different then any other generation of music. Half of it is pure garbage, with many of them sounding the exact same like today's music, with a hand full of actual good ones.
i know sometimes today music doesnt even sound like music
dont be mean to eiffel they are so good
"Cerco Un Centro Di Gravità Permanente" sums it all up
I love how this song talks about 80's Nostalgia... I feel the same way as they do! Awesome Song
This song does have some truth to it. 2014 and all of the 'new hit songs' all sound the same to me, I miss the old songs.
White Recluse hate to be the spammer that says 2019 but in 2k19 it's the same issue there isn't much to grab my attention when it comes to music
2014 was pretty damn good compared to the trash played now

This song applies to me today: I hate the new songs, but seemingly attracted to the 90's. That was awesome!
Every year this song speaks truer and truer
This is an amazing beautiful song. - there is much representation in all of these - some people will recognize this sphere. its just love.
This is one freaky, but extremely creative video.
I'm sitting here wondering "where are the 90's stars?".
***** in your nightmares
spear401 This song is actually from 2001.
I know. I'm referring to the fact that Eiffel65 started in the 90's. And that brought up the question where a lot of other 90's stars went. Some of them fell off of the face of the earth.
You're looking at them.
MichaelLakeArtOfficial where DA 20s stars
This song was stuck in my head in 2014 when we had basketball camp in Dubrovnik.
For those who are wondering what is the "spanish guy saying" (actually he´s Italian). its says something like this ("I look for permanent Gravity center, that never make me change my idea about things, about people") is a riff from a italian song called (Cerco Un Centro Di Gravità Permanente), in that song the artist talks about that he cant stand some type of music, like rock, Italian new wave, Russian Chorus, and some others. it migth be an strong reference for this song
Actually he's Italian

80's Stars
All the music around me
Don't touch me no more
I can't feel the vibe
Two thousand new songs
And they sound all the same
I need something more
But I heard the radio playing that song
I'm wondering why
I wonder what happened to them all
Where are the 80's stars?
I can still feel the magic of those melodies
It's been like a dream
A century is gone and its music is too
Those old friendly songs
Something I've been missing for such a long time
I'm wondering why
I wonder what happened to them all
Where are the 80's stars?

Não me toca mais
Não consigo sentir a emoção
Duas mil canções novas
E elas soam todas iguais
E sobre as pessoas
E sobre as pessoas
Eu precisaria de...
Ainda consigo sentir a magia dessas melodias
E sobre as pessoas
Eu precisaria de...

I like music videos like this, they have a lot of creativity. But most of the music videos now just have the singer and add a bunch of hot girls to it and- there. You have a music video. But don't get me wrong, not all are like that but a lot are.
I totally agree with you.
Declan Jeffrey respect!
i get what you're saying but this video is just awful.. song's good tho
Ricardo Oliveira actually the supposedly "awful" video you're talking about is only arbitrarily so because actually the video is very representative of the VHS generation and what I find most interesting is it looks like you take an original Playstation game's source code and turn it into a video and this is what you get. There's a lot of imagination and talent fused in every Eiffel 65 song dawg...
And what ironically that's what makes this song more relevant now in this day and age and the video

That is 2010-2014.
That's true, sadly true.
Sadly, these lyrics are likely to be up-to-date in near future for a long time
You may want to count in 2009 as well.
Although all the good music is made by independent people that aren't payed or people who compose for game soundtracks.
You can say the same about any era in music if you only count the main stream shit.
Cone Dron That is true. Mainstream most of the time means the lowest common denominator of music.
