This 1996 Bell 430 operated by Clear Sky Aviation is based out of Baltimore, Maryland. Here they are lifting from Allegheny County Airport heading toward Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Looks pretty close the original Jurrasic Park helicopter. Lovely startup, the disturbed air from the blade motion while it's sitting there makes your vision look milky/wavy right underneath them. Excellent footage.
One interesting feature of this video is how it causes the youtube compression algorithm to distort the body of the helicopter where the blade shadows are crossing the surface. It has to "guess" where the line between the body and the background sky....
I feel like I've seen this one as well, back when I was in college in Philly, but I remember a green one that is possibly currently for sale. All the same I miss this bird...our hospital used to have one as an air ambulance back home...I must have seen it for the last time it left the hangar to fly just before I left for college :(
Had to look this up,flew over my area today (4/17/20) cloud coverage so low,i will say this......you can definetly hear her coming, thought it was military
Oh...my...what a whorpling sound of that heli....Amazing....Airwolf..
I like how the blades were turning
Wonderful Bird. Thank You.
Great video! Nice steady up-close camera work.
I like the paint job!

Maquina sensacional.
I don't know how popular the 430 was, but Im gonna say aesthetically speaking, it's about the best looking helicopter in its category out there.
I prefer the lady with 2 main rotors! Oh yeah..guess im used to airwolf retracting the wheels feet off the ground😆
My favourite chopper
