I looked up racism in Massachusetts bc I recently moved here, and honestly I didn’t expect the passive aggressive behavior. Like Boston is such a big city with plenty of immigrants, but you could feel the little uncomfortably of some non poc folks when you approach or talk to them. Even Doctor made me and my mom feel this way. And I think that’s why they didn’t take time to give her proper care, she could have die smh.

I wish this conversation went deeper. It was an echo of countless other conversations previously had about the immigrant and non-white experience in the U.S. However, I think this video is interesting because it mentioned Boston’s veiled, passive aggressive racism and another CZcamsr I watch mentioned some time ago that she experienced that in Boston.

If you know the history of America from more than just the white male perspective, you then understand why Americans and recent immigrants have to be “obsessed” with race. You wouldn’t have to ask that question. And you say there should be more focus on education? For decades non-white people in America have been blocked, ignored and excluded from good education. And you think if we just stay focused on education all the problems created for non-white people will just go away?

@USMC-Goforth This is just an agenda for Africans and Asians immigrants descendants in order to get reparations from each country they reside in. These are basically 1st generation born Americans of immigrants who no longer receive the honorary white status as their immigrant parents are getting. Instead they are reclassified as African American and Asian American Citizens only. They are pushing for discrimination compensation for having a disadvantage as American Citizens who are considered an underclass by their standards thus have filed lawsuits and have studies done based on the discrimination by the Government. My people are American Negros who were enslaved and lands stolen that built this country. We worked hard in a country that we built and nobody ever gave us a free handout that we didn't earned or worked for. This is just an insult to American Citizens along with the illegal migrant invasion who are paid in some cases $39k per month which is $468k per year not including fee medical care, EBT food cards, grants to open these shanty business on every corner, etc. These people willing migrated here to become a dependence of the American Country including their descendants who are filing laws of discrimination based on not being able to continue to receive unearned benefits like their immigrant/migrant parents.

Boston Mass is one of the best ranked cities/state in almost every major category but reporters and news outlets like this one chooses to completely disregard this considerably basic fact. I would expect things like crime, education, healthcare, economy, etc. would be more important rather than trying to push this narrative onto young people but what do i know.

You soak it in and you use it a fuel to do better and be better and move forward. Life is hard. It was probably hard for the Irish and British and Italian and German immigrants that make 99.99% of the East cost as well…they probably faced hardship too. Such is life. Most of these kids are gonna be fine and probably have wonderful lives and great job prospectives. Specially in MA….so diverse! I’ve lived everywhere and I became a citizen a year ago.
