Foo Fighters "Everlong" Jam (RIP Taylor Hawkins) -

@sheshreds_media #1RAD Day 25 - I was gonna do a different riff today that I wrote but.... damn. Absolutely crushed about the news of @taylorhawkinsofficial death. I cannot believe this and I have no words.. So, here's "Everlong." I know Taylor didn't play on the studio recording of this song and everything was played by Dave, but of course Taylor absolutely rocked these FAST drum parts and hit them harddd effortlessly live over the years. This was also the first song I ever learned fully on guitar when I reeeally started playing more seriously and teaching myself how to like 7 years ago. Learning this song was a total game changer; once I got this down, suddenly SO many things about guitar just started clicking together for me that I hadn't been able to pull off prior and it strengthened me as a player. And I learned it on this exact same guitar which I just happened to choose to take with me this weekend while away from home. Excuse my few mess-ups here and there, it's been a while since I've played this in full, but I didn't wanna rehearse this at all before hitting record, and just play along to the song. RIP Taylor, you've been an inspiration for me on drums too, but I KNOW, I can't pull off the stuff you play, at this point in time... Take care of yourselves and look after others, everyone ♥️
