I may main ronin but I'll say this. That swords range is the exact same as Northstars normal punch me and some friends tested it and both styders have the same range. With that said. Just buly shity Ronin mains with Northstar.
Yep Northstar is the best to titan box but can be done with an atlas too, I say that from experience but I struggle to keep up the titan boxing in an ogre titan.

No guns just melee?" and a GIGAchad said yes, and so we're sitting there, Ion vs Monarch, as a friendly and enemy pilot both harass us, beating the ever loving shit out of each other. I won because I always run double boost and can and will fistfight a ronin.

Separate the hallway using cluster munition, even in sword it will hurt quite a bit, then just got back and shoot. If the get too close use viper thrusters to shoot from above, usually can out damage them that way. Also can use viper thrusters and throw a cluster under yourself, they have to choose either block or damage, and if they pick damage (all usually do) Your railgun and cluster together do outstanding damage. Might as well pop a tether so he won't escape

the real gigachads don´t need a sword, but don´t make their hands dirty either. They´ve got a gun to successfully show an enemy their superiority. Although it reminds me a bit of a few matches ago, where I (in a Legion with barely one core left on the screen) managed to execute another Legion with around thrice the amount of health left.
I think learning to main ronin is a good lesson on positioning and that movement is key. It also teaches you to explore actual strategy with your titan
