Thank you Fr. Chris Alar for the great message. I am one of the poorest of the poor children in the Philippines whom Fr. Al Schwartz sheltered, gave food, clothing, best education and everything. After highschool I went to college for 4yrs BS Nursing...graduated and passed my NCLEX. I have no idea to come here in USA to practice my profession because it's expensive and hard to get a job here in USA but I believe God helped and led me here, now I am serving elderly people with illnesses, dying people in the nursing home. I am Fr. Aloysius Schwartz's fruit of all his sacrifices and love for Mama Mary and God. Thank you Fr. Al may you continue to pray for us 🙏

As my elderly mom was disappointed not being able to go to Lourdes, we made a decision to visit the Banneux Shrine. And we found your video on Banneux while we are on our way to Banneux today! 🙏

My gf smelled roses near a picture of the Mother of Perpetual Help in my parents house. I was praying St. Teresa the Little Flower novena at that time for her conversation. She was a staunch Buddhist and wound even talk about religion.... she joined RCIA by herself and we didn't need a mixed marriage. We are now in our 50s. Praise be to God.
Fr. Crhis, similar to you, I had an illumination of conscience, I was in Texas in the Winter, and I could not remember how t pray, couldn't recall any of the basic prayers past these words Hail Mary or Our Father I was sure it meant I was doomed. I prayed and asked Mary to help me "If it was not too late for me." I took a walk while praying this and sobbing, and I turned the corner and there was a Fully Bloomed Rose on top of a bush all by itself where it should not be this time of year - I realized instantly it was a sign and when I realized it then suddenly I recalled the Prayers and the rosary and began my conversion. I have never seen her but she has helped me so many times and Padre Pio too. I have smelled roses a few times since. She is so generous.

Thank you for this very interesting story of Our Lady of Banneux in Belgium, Fr. Chris. Living in Belgium, I often heard of this place when summer is approaching due to organised pilgrimages. A religious Sister from St. Philip Neri’s congregation invited me and a friend of mine, Evangeline to join with them in this pilgrimage. We had processions to the grotto and the holy well, participated in the individual blessings for the sick, actively participating in the Eucharistic celebration and the most laborious of all was to serve the sick people and preparing the refectory for every meal. It was really a big challenge and an opportunity to be of service to God and humanity. Now at our advanced age, we are the ones sick but grateful and happy to recall the memories of visiting the place of Our Lady of Banneux, Our Lady of the Poor. Thank you, Blessed Mother Mary.

Fr Chris Talking of Marian apparitions i had to tell you that Knock shrine in Ireland in the lasf 2 weeks are having more pilgrims than ever visiting and especially returning to confession. My friend from Dublin asked me today at mass, why in the last 2 weeks? I said i think that having 10,000 people at the divine mercy conference 2 weeks ago is no co incidence Right ? Amazing !
Hopefully this is a good sign that people want to return to the one true faith.
I think that lapsed Catholics the world over are recognizing the signs of the end times Our Lady warned us about.
Amazing how the Marians have changed my life! I never came across Our Lady of Banneaux... but I came across Fr Aloysius a week ago, and prepared a post with the exact share by Fr Chris about the "two things when you pray..." Hair-raising. This is Our Lady's hands at work! Praise God!

I went to sleep and my phone started playing this video suddenly, on its own after 20 seconds of silence.. I hadn’t even clicked on it and I had paused the previous video I had been watching, which was another Catholic video. Needless to say it was surprising. I’m not an old person so I do know how my phone works too. Interesting.

I've downloaded all your talks in youtube, father. I've been inspired by your beautiful homily. I listen to your talks everyday while walking, sitting and laying on bed. I've also downloaded Thomistic Institute 101' videos, it's all about a metaphysics of St. Thomas Aquinas explained by the dominican priests. I was actually a seminarian before, but now I'm married, maybe priesthood is not my true vocation. Even if I left the seminary but still God has been calling me as a lay person, in many ways, to serve Him, because He needs more people to preach his mercy throughout the world as the end time is very near.

And after my contract I will be coming back to the Philippines and preach the Divine Mercy in crouded areas and on social medias.. I'm going to plan to have a vlog going to the haunted places like buildings, houses and cementery that have been abandoned for many years. I would do the exploration with Church's prayers and sacramentals, cause there is a lot of vloggers what we called a ghost haunter, they usually ask for guidance from the fallen angels like fairy, goblin, snag( a giant monster sitting on the tree) and amulets. these powers are being used by ghost haunters to fight the devil posses persons: witches, vampire like appearance, we have this in the Philippines. they have many subscribers on youtube and facebook, and people are believing in them as well as asking guidancefrom these fallen angels and spirits of the dead persons. that's why I'm going to evangelize them by using church's prayers and sacramentals I know they are very effective against these so-called demons..

I am very blessed to be a member of the English speaking pilgrims that belonged to the "Our Lady of Banneux, Blessed Virgin of the Poor" from the U.K. since 2000 and we used to visit the Holy Shrine every year until the lockdown during the pandemic. Our group was lead by Maria Hare who dedicated her life organising the yearly Pilgrimage from the London to Banneux in Belgium. Every Holy Shrine of our Lady I have visited is special and unique in it's own way. Our Lady of Banneux is so special especially early in the morning to visit the spring to drink the Holy Water and wash your and feel the soothing healing love from the Lady. "Blessed Virgin of Poor, lead us to Jesus, source of grace".

I remember when I was little, my family came all together from the communist USSR, from Ukraine we emigrated as refugees through Poland, with nothing but our clothes and whatever we could pack in suitcases. We lived with relatives in Poland for a few yrs but we were also so poor, we picked mushrooms, berries and edible grass from the forest for food, before we arrived in the U.S. We also picked coal for the stove for heat and cooking.
My goodness, I hope that our country, under the protection of our Mother Mary, the Immaculate Conception, lives up to your expectations. May God bless you and keep you safe.

During our great 11-year Revival we had different processions we had the procession of Lights and also a Revival procession now they seem to play this same music during revivals a Revival music procession I saw it happen in the Philippines as well. Many many priests and I believe the bishop was leading the procession and many many Altar Boys. The priest would lead the procession down the left aisle of the church, across the front of the church in over to the right side of the church, then through the back and up the middle aisle to the altar, this was our music Revival procession also during the procession they were spreading the holy incense, it lasted a long time it was the beginning of our Revival procession!!

Thanks Fr. Chris of reminding me when I visited Belgium in 1984 , that I’m not aware that there was St. Bannauex similar to Fatima.. and I kept it to myself what’s God’s will for me, but I remember some voices also that I have to suffer. But I continued to pray 🙏 and asked more guidance during those years. My grand mother Joaquina was the one that named me Rosario, she was a prayerful women and some of her nephews was also a priest but they’re gone already. And I’m still remain faithful to my faith even the time I become separated. So much story to be part of my Christian faith to our lord Jesus Christ and to our Blessed Mother.
