    These colors look beautiful together! I’ve made this exact cake with a light lavender color, makes me with in would have added a drip, it definitely looks great on there!

      Thank you! Lavender would be pretty too, but yes, I love the gold drip too. This was definitely my best one yet. So much trial and error tho, this was just pure luck, lol.

    woww.. can u please mention the color that u have used.. its the perfect color Nd also the yellow color used for fondant

    • @TheRobynsNest
      @TheRobynsNest  Před 2 lety +1

      Sure thing! The yellow fondant was Wilton’s golden yellow, and for the red, I use Americolor super red to get a nice bright red base then used one drop of Americolor chocolate brown at a time until I arrived at the shade you see. It will darken a smidge as it processes so keep that in mind when adding your brown. Hope this helps!🥰

      one last question did u refrigerate or microwave the buttercream for the brighter red

    • @TheRobynsNest
      @TheRobynsNest  Před 2 lety +1

      @@ashwinigattu4744 I didn’t do either. I mixed it up and used it within the hour. Americolor super red is so concentrated, I find it doesn’t really need it. Once my frosted cake goes into the fridge to chill it comes out perfectly
