    The nice detailing of the machine guns, as well as the many other little things, will make the difference afterwards.
    Very well executed scratch build parts and the machined PE parts do the rest. Absolutely nice work Steve!
    Best wishes and a nice weekend. Joachim

      Hi Joachim. Some of the PE is so small it would look big on 1/72 scale LOL. Still having a lot of fun with it. Currently adding loads of missing rivets to the cab. Many thanks for your kind words. Have a great weekend and speak soon

    Steve Hi ! The PE parts added a lovely touch to the kit, but the most interesting detail you did is the modified cushions for the driver seats. It's a simple but very effective modification that bring to life the driver compartment.
    A brilliant idea indeed.
    Happy modling waiting for the next episode

      Hi LZ. I hope all is well. I have been working with the GreenStuff and added some straps to the cushions as well. Looking forward to seeing them painted up. Many thanks of looking in and happy modelling

    Great detailing Steve. Those seats are a marked improvement but the cushions are something that most of us wouldn't think to alter. The PE set really makes a difference. The guns and the pedals are perfect examples where the effort was worth while. So true though that not all PE on a fret is worth using.
    Do be careful with knives. Looks like the cut on your right hand was painful !!

    • @SteveJonesScaleModellingSite
      @SteveJonesScaleModellingSite  Před 11 měsíci +1

      Evenin Jim. Hope you are well and that the 1/48 ambulance is still going. You have done a great job on the paintwork. The cut was from those metal binders around boxes. My fault for not wearing gloves in the warehouse at work LOL There will be a lot left over in the PE set. Some of it was rather pointless for this kit but maybe of use on others. Many thanks for your kind comments and have a great weekend my friend

      Hello mate. There is nothing worse than getting a bit of CA on your tweezers. Its then a fight between the tweezers, your fingers, the plastic part and the PE LOL. Take care my friend and many thanks for looking in.

    Amazing work Steve you really know how to do the PE. I must say I don’t like it too much and tend just to stick with the kit parts. If it’s in the kit I will try and use it but I’d rather not 😂. Great work my friend keep it up.

      I fully understand Mike. I try to only use it to improve the look. However sometimes I do get carried away with PE LOL. Take care my friend and have a great weekend

    Very enjoyable to watch. I did the 30cal in 1/72 from MiniWorld, same job, just insanely smaller 😅. For the seats you should ask Joachim for his famous chocolate wrappings 😂.
    Great job again Steve.

      Hi Shawn. I will be ending up with more spare PE than I have used on this build. Some kits certainly over do it at times. Take care my friend and many thanks for looking in and commenting

  • @dvdw_graphics_crafts
    @dvdw_graphics_crafts Před 11 měsíci +1

    Nice that you further improve the details! Yep, if a part's gonna be covered in mud or snow, I'll most likely kinda touch it or just let it be as is. XP

    • @SteveJonesScaleModellingSite
      @SteveJonesScaleModellingSite  Před 11 měsíci +1

      Totally agree my friend. It is a shame to cover up the small detailing in the weathering stages but that is the price you have to pay for realism. Thanks for looking in and commenting. Take care and speak soon

    Very nice but you need to cut the butterfly triggers off the .50cal and slide the PE with the kit handles right up to the rear body of the receiver, there are butterfly triggers on the PE if you look closely.

      Hello mate. Just been catching up on your M10 build. Looks like you have had a lot of small parts to contend with as well. I use industrial strength super glue called GP Super Glue. You can pick it up at Toolstation . It is strong stuff but you have little time to get the piece in place or move it before it hardens. Hope you are well and speak soon my friend
