Hi I had a question I was wondering do you think there is any chance of me getting into an arts school because the problem I’m just bearly Finn a graduate and I just realized that I wanted to become a dancer but because of my current situation I have never taken a class but I do watch dance practice and try to learn choreography’s and since I have no background in dancing am I still able to make a profilo? I’ve been watching your videos for a while and just realized you went to booker t. compared to booker t, I probably don’t have as good of a resume, but I’ve been in a performing arts company for ballet since sixth grade. i don’t plan to study dance in college but want to use it as a hook in my application even though I don’t choreograph my own work - does it still make sense to submit a dance portfolio? (also michelle zada hall is the best lol)
Hi! I wanted to apply with a visual arts/design portfolio, but will I get to select the specific major (product design) I want to get into when I apply? I would only be applying for their art/design program so I don't want my art portfolio to just be seen as an additional supplement. Hope that made sense haha!
Emma Marie You do not apply to a specific major when applying to Stanford! You just apply to the school, and if you are admitted you can major in whatever you want.
