Pierce is probably like Leif in a sense of abandonment, I say this because he hates to be alone and away from the others which makes him the most angsty of the cast. Being that Pierce is seen as a worthless killing machine, he takes comfort in how Leif talks to him and includes him. When Leif says "SHUT UP, PIERCE!" or "STAY OUT OF IT, PIERCE!" we can see some form of pain on his face. So my theory is that Pierce is just like Leif, but more grounded.

What if Damos get affected by the Earth atmosphere depending on how much magic they use right before they go to Earth? Because they all used their magic before they left and Asch passed out and Noi’s skin burned and Leif almost suffocated. Asch used his magic to make the portal, Noi used all his magic to make the potion and Leif likes to phase. Peirce and Rhys didn’t get affected as much because they didn’t use a lot of their magic(I’m assuming Leif phased a lot). And Zex doesn’t use his magic at all when he goes through, he transforms into his human/Damos form because Lady Bish transforms him. So what if Damos are affected by how much magic they use before they go to Earth?
