Just a suggestion, on the white plastic you should do black panel liner in parts that look like they open, and grey for thin panel lines, Mecha Gaikotsu does a video on how to panel line the lazy way, but he explains on what to do with the grey and black.

I think it's actually fun to try entry grade kits because if you're new to customizing or modding, you can at least try them on these cheap kits rather than doing it straight at your typical MG or RG kits ◝(⁰-⁰)◜

For anyone considering getting any of the EGs, be super careful not to play around with them too much. For some reason they get incredibly floppy. I have old real grades that hold better poses than my EG kits.
i guess because EG kits don't use polycaps they loosen quickly
@@salmansaifurrahman4081 That's my guess too. PS on PS joints wear out incredibly quickly if you move them too much. Polycaps aren't much better either honestly but they still last a touch longer. I wish Bandai kept the ABS parts for joints and inner frame parts, that stuff lasts ages.
Plastic to plastic kasi e.
A little bit of super-glue in the joints works wonders. Don't actually glue the joints together but add a bit to the peg, click it together and slide it around to apply, then separate the parts to let it dry. I've seen people recommend nail polish as well to tighten joints, but I've also heard it breaks down the plastic.
@@rapidemboar4625 I prefer to apply a bit of acrylic paint to the joint, especially if it dries chalky. It provides a bit of thickness to the parts, and friction to keep the joints from flopping around. Matte top coat also works really well. I don't like the superglue method because it can sometimes reactivate in the joint.

Built this kit, accidentally broke the waist-to-leg joint, then bought the full weapons set.
Entry Grade is still pretty Kino, that break was on me being a bit too hard.

I actually bought this kit yesterday, at my local Hobby Lobby, along with another Entry Grade, a Pokémon Mew kit. Both were on sale for 40%. They were the most satisfying and easy to build kits I've ever brought. 😊

Done this kit yesterday, and while comming from warhammer and other tapletop games i can say i quite liked the simpisity, made a lot of fun, yes i dont think i will stay to long with the entry Kits, but i intend of re painting the gundam, i think i can make it Look better this way,

I kinda actually like pluck-building but one thing that concerns me is that I would be afraid that I'll break it if I pluck it out wrongly besides gunpla veterans would probably still prefer cutting then plucking. It's sort of the more traditional way

I remember being so excited getting this as my first model kit. Literally just posing and getting this dude in cool poses made me want *end* *it* all. The wrists kept kept falling off and the figures legs, arms, and feet were floppy.

i already did this a long time ago. but the peg in the shield was cut in the back pack and never remove permanently. it is still a good kit. already have the entry grade nu gundam recently and i will try use nippers. removing it by hand leaves nubs.

Pluck building is fine with me, though a bit of sanding down is recommended.
