The hunt is real! I spend hours and hours each week, combing through thrift stores, estate sales, auctions, flea markets & Antique centers ... to bring home the goods and prepare them for selling in my Ebay store, my antique booth and on Facebook Marketplace, which fully supports me.

I was so exctited to find my Granddaughter wanted to start a hope chest with dishes with forgetme nots and antiques blues. I hope our young starts loving these beauties like we have.

Thank you karen for your videos. I want you to know you changed my life. I had 10 spine surgeries and couldn’t work anymore. I started selling to supplement my income. I found two pair of 400 dollar boots today! I paid a left that store quick. I think living in Tampa people donate their winter stuff and I profited. 😅 thank you again. You’re the best!

I used to live near Tampa, in Brandon. I never did any real reselling when I lived there…mostly just sold things that I owned or that were left to me. That’s great that you made such a great find! I wish you continuing good luck in your reselling journey!
You are amazing and so inspiring! I’m 72 and dipping my foot in the reselling business and your videos keep me motivated. But honestly I don’t know how you find enough hours in the day to do everything you do!

I had an idea that I'm pretty sure you don't have time for but here it is anyways 😂...
When you pull shipping its fun to see all the beautiful things on your shelves. So when you said you get quick sales from YT subscribers, because you take us with you, I thought maybe, once in awhile, you could show items from your inventory that haven't sold for a period of time. Things we aren't aware of.
Or just take a tour of those beautiful things and talk about them like we are shopping 🛒🛒🛒🛒 in Goodwill with you! Someone may see something they really love and can't live without!
It could be just one shelf section, like the wood items or glass section. Or maybe just a couple items you would like to highlight and talk about.

I just peruse her eBay store every few weeks:). I just downsized, so I’m really trying not to bring any more into my home, however, it’s still fun to shop. Karen’s eBay store is a treasure trove
@@LindaKayHolevas Yes that would be fun to look at ebay stores especially Lavender clothes line! But many people don't shop online but they do watch YT. So maybe highlighting some items that have been in stock for awhile might attract a buyer,
making room for those new fantastic finds!

I have 3 vintage Coach bags my late husband gave me over the years. I use leather cleansers/moisturizers to keep them beautiful. I treasure them

On the vase, if it's sharp, it's probably brilliant cut glass. On the side where you think it's miss being cut, it's called a zipper cut. It is going back up in value.

There are so many things I could gush about in your video cause it’s great BUT, the most cherished part of this video to me is when you look out your window and say you see your husband bringing in inventory. It’s so very sweet.

I usually make a few trips to my car especially on 30% off senior discount day but I leave my cart with a couple items in it and leave it in the front of the store and the workers keep an eye on it. Otherwise I wouldn’t have a cart to use when I came back in 😊

All I could think of while watching this is that the carts aren't gone. We clearly live in a different parts of the country...here in Chicago it would be multiple trips to car or have someone with you😂
My home was built in 1935 and I decorate it with exclusively vintage items that have a one of a kind feel. I would not buy lamps in pairs or furniture that is matchy-matchy. I would buy that awesome lamp you passed on. I am probably not the only one who decorates this way.

Covering your carts is a good idea. It would take alot of time to stand in line, load the car, come back in and start over again on a three cart day.

Vintage Coach bags sell very well. Also, most of the bags sold at Coach Outlets are specifically designed for the outlet stores. They don’t sell seconds.
I look forward to your videos each week. My husband used to work construction jobs out of town and I would love to go to the goodwill and thrift stores in different places. He has cancer now and I’m home with him so watching your channel is my thrifting thrill. The personal things you’re adding lately make it even more as we’re going with a good friend. Since I'm a retired first-grade teacher, I would have loved that big apple on my desk. Would love the pine cone platter displayed on an easel for fall. Lovely piece. Pfaltzgraff Heritage is quite collectible.

Glass is my obsession. I have so much of my moms old glass. She collected candy dishes in the 50s and 60s and 70s. You just would not believe what I have. I have so much just wonderful wonderful stuff. I need to catalog it. I have a Glass obsession I have so much of it you would not believe. However, I got rid of my icky, wine, glasses, and all the other glasses I didn’t like, but just had and put her beautiful somewhere in my China cabinet.
Lighting in the bathroom looks pretty good. Saves some fiddling around with lights. You moved your downstairs table! I can't cope. lol

Years ago I bought a huge 120 pc lot of Pfaltzgraff at auction for $8. It was definitely worth it. But not sure I would do it again.
I love Pfaltzgraff...I have a 12 piece set from the early 90s. The english tea rose. I have loved it all these years. Would never part with it.

I’m just going to say it , I’m jealous our goodwills suck in our part of Pennsylvania and the prices are ridiculous. Today I went to Buffalo and went to a Goodwill in Hamburg NY and nothing but crap and high prices . I come out of Goodwills so depressed that I rarely go to them anymore. 😢

i've had several booths in the past. If I found something really cute or just unusual, I'd pick it up and have several items that were reasonable for those who wanted a little something but didn't have a lot of extra money, or wanted a little gift for a friend. You might could even have them all together with a cute name for the area. Gets them in your booth every time and one day they may be looking for something more expenive.
