I've done a mage necromancer build in the past before the Zombies were buffed (then nerfed a little in 3.9) which performed incredibly well but this build is simply next level. The "hardest" part to get it going is acquiring a single Dead Reckoning jewel which can be found in trade league for 1c.
The only change I made was swapping the Lightning Golem to a Carrion Golem since they both give and receive buffs from the Zombies as well as the four link setup for Winter Orb.
Best mage skelly build yet. Just rips through mobs in middle game. Just trying it now in end game and the dps is outstanding.

I'm now lvl 91 with this build and i actually have more fun with it then a pure zombie build.
I can handle t16 maps and i have 17 watchstones.
I die sometimes but thats because im still new to the game first time to get this far in a league.

Man, i gotta say this build is amazeballs and best of all, it runs really well on Xbox (not sure how lol). One of the funnest builds ive made yet and surprisingly resilient and very strong. I opted for dual Convoke Wands and i feel with those it's far more superior than the staff. Having said that, Picking up two Convoke Wands with the "+1 level to all minion skill gems" that has good rolls like "Minion Damage" (up to 89%?) is not cheap lol but i have a feeling its better than using the staff. Im running T15's with no problems, surprisingly because im on Xbox.
Just completed the game with a zombiemancer build, and now going to re-start and try out this build. Witch and minions is my favourite go to in any game

Explanation for spectres :
Lv25 spectre gem give you 3 spectres. You have +1 from death attunment = 4spectres.
Get lv21 spectre gem (vaaling it once lv20). Your helmet has +2 level socketed minion gems. And your ascendancy "unnatural strength" +2 minion skill gem. 25 !

I'm currently running this build in Delirium and it's doing mad work. Great for staying ahead of the mist.
A couple of questions, though. Is there any reason not to run Elemental Army on the skeleton mages? Thoughts on the Triad's Grip without Brutality for the zombies with it? To make use of the resistance drop. Or is the straight damage boost just better?

Awesome build, maybe one of the best I played when it comes to standard maps. Unfortunately with 5,5k HP and 1,5k ES you get absolutely one shoted in T13+ maps when mobs have strong multipliers. Increased critical strike, multipliers, reflect, chaos damage, strong psychical damage. If you want to reach levels above 90, forget it.

TBH you won't want to level past 90. The the amount of xp needed is exponential as you level and to get to 100 will likely burn you out.
can someone explain why we are using blood magic with lightning golem? Apologize in advance for newbie question.
i love the build, just wondering why we use blood magic for spectre and lightning golem, you summom them once and then you never have to use the spell again is'nt it better to put a diffrent support spell in there?
Hey bro, the Blood Magic is important because your spectres won't run out of mana and will spam their skills.
What class you need to start for this?
Were do I pet the rest of the skillpoints I have? :P Just wereever? or? And if u Death attunement on the neckless were do u put the 7 points that u used to get there :P.

how do you get 6 gem link do they drop it at some point when playing higher levels? Im lvl 52 and never got anything with more than 4 links
the gem "cast while channeling" doesn't work for me. Which one can I change it for?
is ther any build that is focused on spectre and maybe a way to rais the summons more than 4? it's the spectre's who are doing all that cool looking attacks after all :P

Does vaal haste link with anything else besides duration? Its cuz I want to place convocation on unset ring and vaal haste on the place of spell echo cuz it really buggs me that skeletons don't follow me
I put all jewels with +minion damage and my zombies have only about 16k life, they die in 13tier map bosses, what i gonna do? If i remove jewels skeletons will do less dmg

Out of curiosity, didn't spell echo already build in staves? Should I add in another dmg gem swap out the spell echo gem. I'm not there yet to hold my pledge of hand tho. Just my curious question.

Pledge of Hands now grants Greater Spell Echo instead of Spell Echo. When you combine Greater Spell Echo with Spell Echo you get tons of damage. They explain better here: pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Greater_Spell_Echo_Support

Man, i don't understant i'm a newbie, i got the build with like 4,200 hp 1600 shield, 75 to all resistance even chaos and i'm getting one shotted by everythings in t11 either spell or physical attack ? is it about the map rolling, i'm doing somethings wrong or somethings else?

Great build but..i cant get all my skills needed on the 8 slot skill bar. Help. For example, you have skitterbots nowhere on your bar but they are definitely out. how?
First of all, for skills like Auras to be active, you can just activate them and remove them from the skillbar, they will continue to run unless you un-equip their jewels or slot them and cast them again to deactivate.
Second, by pressing and holding Strc / Ctrl (by default) on your keyboard, you can swap between 2 skill slotbars, so you put the skills you use more often in the default one and the others in the second one.
Anyone know why it doesn't work Flesh Offering linked with CWCS and Winter Orb and Descerate ??

How does the totem skeleton work? When I cast it, it just pops a totem that doesn’t do anything and dies like instantly. Doesn’t cast.
You have to put a gem with it, "combine"

ive played a lot of srs and i gotta tell you it sucks to stand still and cast them when you are getting swarmed by enemies on high tier maps.. boss dmg is better tho.
