Also you can buy Philips Trishul RL118/94 (avialable on amazon) which has 3 way power including Rechargable battery and AC in.

Dear friend, The most strongest point of this radio is it's reception power. It's antenna is around 4 feet long. My house is 55 km apart from FM radio stations and still it's very clear and loud sound. However MW stations are more stronger and it also catch SW foreign channel very well. So you can blindly go for it. Thank you.

There are a couple of reasons behind it- 1) Just because they are charging you a delivery fee it may happen that the seller is not flipkart assured. In case of returns you may face difficulties. 2) Also, check if the seller is an authorized dealer of Philips by contacting their customer care or simply going into their website (philips.co.in). If it's not an authorized seller then in all likelihood you will not get the warranty support for the product. It will be better, in my opinion, to buy the radio from a local Philips authorized brick and mortar retailer.

@@ramapatibharadwaj2124 Yeh IC Philips sets hai. Pehle zamane ka transistor set nahi. Philips ka sirf DL 225, RL 118 aur dl 167 me noise nahin ata. FM to koi bhi local set me achha bajega.

Yes bbc is in 25metre band, 31 metre band and 49Metre band. Timing is from 3:30 AM to 7:30 AM and same timing in the evening
