- Jimmy Gonzalez and Joe Lopez formed Mazz in 1978 before disbanding in 1998.Gonzalez was known for blending a variety of genres into his basic Tejano sound.Gonzalez signed a recording contract with Freddie Records in 1999.Thus forming Jimmy González Y El Grupo Mazz.Jimmy Gonzalez died in San Antonio, Texas on June 6, 2018, after suffering from low blood sugar as a result of his diabetes.

I just left my girlfriends house it hurts so bad to leave her house everytime to go back to lonely apt the apt where I once was a happily married man! I recently lost the love of my life this year her death at 34yrs old mine was 37 yrs old has been very tragic I'm from cctx snd her moved all the way from San Antonio tx we met online and fell in love and moved in rite away we lived together about 4 yrs married only and married only 6 months! Only 6 months ! crying hard rite! Because I'm listening to the song the 4th song " vida sin tu amor" because , I could never imagine that my life without her before & still now! But it is the way it happened .24:33
The reason it hurts is because is rite now "I FINNALLY found somebody una were con ojos azules ! " I love her different but exactly couldn't s a y more or less but I can say I love her where I can't be without her one second longer becsusevit causes me pain! Severe pain to point of It's ruining my life it's making me so hurt so much destruction because dhewants to never live together anytime soon its like 5 yrs away if anything I just can't go living like this everdsy in this much pain is crazy ! Freddie martinez stated that Jimmy was a genius in Tejano arrangement. He would give jimmy lyrics only and freddie m would say: " Do something with this" and Jimmy did!
