The origin of Preacher. Makes me realize we really are down to the last two years now. So many great soap characters started as ne're do well types like Preacher, Jesse Hubbard, Tad Martin, Todd Manning, Luke Spencer, Sonny Corinthos. Women too, but more like Bobbie Spencer, Delia, Dorian, Erica, and Raven, who stayed strong but mostly learned to curb their selfish impluses over the years.
I loved the initial shot of Nicole looking out the window while it was snowing and the clock outside was ringing. The snow looked so realistic. I remember that shot from when the episode originally aired decades ago, but I didn't remember that Preacher appeared on the show this early. I thought Lee Sheldon created the Preacher character. BTW, Camilla is such a pretty woman.
@@MrCraigblaze I didn't say that. I said I believe Chris was at AMC when Charles was on AW. I think he left AW after 1986? The year I met him through my future long time friend Marcia
This episode would make a great drinking game. Count how many times characters interact on the telephone. I counted 10 characters on the old blower. The first 7 minutes is pretty much all phone conversations!
I much enjoyed Preacher's arrival. Preacher was so mysterious. I also like the length Jody was willing to go to help Miles & Nicole when it came to Preacher. I wonder what Henry Slesar would have done with Preacher and Jody versus Lee Sheldon.
@@nightowlchad Henry's last show was when Sky and Raven solved Nora's murder, and Ian found David Cameron. By this time Preacher was already softening up towards Jody, and was empathizing. I sense Henry too was planning a new pairing which Lee Sheldon took on.
@@eonschuylerwhitney I remember that was Slesar's last episode was wrapping up Nora's murder. Preacher seemed like a clone of Chris Goutman's Sharkey character when he first came on.
