    Hi Ashley very nice and usefull review, particularly about child reduced fare (which was regular in the past, but not any more today). I will love to see more yours videos.

    Your video super helpful for me in planning my trip to Narita since ANA no longer offers this same flight from SJC to NRT. This also helps me with the expectations of food and on board movies. Thank you!

      That's great! Yeah RIP that ANA flight! Coming back through customs at SJC was so much easier than at SFO.

    I agree, Zipair fares are much lower than full service carriers.I live in Japan and am looking to come back to SJC to see family and friends. I actually prefer ANA even though my airfare RT from Okinawa to SFO will be around $2,000 RT. Take care!!

    I went through the entire booking process and for 3 seats (me, 4 yr and baby) it came out to $2300, with premium seats chosen and meals.
    Only thing stopping me from booking is I don’t have the baby’s passport yet and they only go to narita 😩 even having to book the flight to SFO/LAX it’s still nearly $1000 cheaper than the big companies. 😮 I might recheck if we don’t book somewhere else before the passport comes back. But I’m afraid of the 2 hours on trains from narita with kids and luggage alone to get to our apartment 😅 it’s only 10 mins from Haneda.
    Thanks for the video!

      No issues although we didn't end up using it for it's intended purpose. It was more a head pillow. I didn't see others using the bigger toddler bed.

    Thank you for the information I appreciate it very helpful. I’m leaving in two weeks. The only question is on my ticket for seat 18 J I bought it for a 14-year-old but it says for exit row on the inventory but children 14 years and younger can not sit in the exit row I see you got the same seat 18 isn’t that an exit row?

    • @AshleyYang
      @AshleyYang  Před 3 měsíci

      The booking website will not let you book if it's a seat your child cannot be in due to their age. Hope you figured it out!

    thank you. very informative. but after paying extra for the premium package, you still have to pay another fee just to get a seat? I thought paying extra for the premium package meant we could choose seats for free?? :(

    • @aibao_eipariru_april
      @aibao_eipariru_april Před 6 měsíci +2

      She picked no package. Premium and regular package includes seats. Easy enough to run a test booking on their website and just close the window before booking. The total price will show at the top of the page.

    If you choose the extra legroom seats in the front, is there a spot still to put your ipad? Like the little shelf that comes out in the other seat?

    • @AshleyYang

      There is not, one of the downsides. Also the arm rests do not go down in these front row seats.

    • @AshleyYang

      I'd say it's not too different from flying a normal airline, you just need to pack more stuff if you are trying to save on costs.
