What's the YouTube APPLAUD Button & How Did I Get It On My Channel? Now Called the "Thanks" Button!

- For reasons only known by the CZcams algorithms, I somehow got the APPLAUD button on my channel (now called the "Thanks" button). You'll see it when you visit my channel. What's the APPLAUD button? Let's jump into it and find out.

I'm jealous too, I wish CZcams would roll this out for everyone. I've checked in my settings and there's no option to enable it. I don't know if anyone would actually use it, but I'd love to have the feature available.
Yes, it's strange that they're rolling it out so slowly. Makes me wonder if it's going to last.
@@KellyGreenYall I got a notification in my "Supers" tab, today that while I don't have access to applause right now, it's coming soon. So looks like they're preparing for a wider (if not total) roll out of the feature.

Everyone seems to be able to see my APPLAUD button on their desktop, but only certain people can see it on their smartphone. Strange. Let me know in the comments if you can see it on your phone and whether or not you have Android or iPhone.
I saw it active on my android tablet and android phone. And you got a 2 + 2 = 4 . It flases a quick animation from the amount of the applause. More like a super sticker. No choice to any "chat" words
I see no applaud button on my iPhone. 😩
@@Eat_More_Possum Interesting. Maybe it is indeed an Android/iPhone thing. You can see it on Android, not on iPhone. However, it looks like you can see it on all desktop computers.

I tried the applaud button and it said “insufficient bank funds.” Probably a CZcams glitch or something. 😅
