The Evil Queen was the most beautiful woman in the entire kingdom until Snow White came along and ousted her from that position. It's not that the Queen is too pretty it's that Snow White's Rachael Ziegler is nothing compared to the Evil Queen's Gal Gadot in terms of looks. I think casting Gal Gadot as the Evil Queen is a genuinely good casting decision but you need to cast a younger actress opposite of her that can match her when it comes to looks (good luck with that).

"We're not focusing on the romance anymore" bro the prince was in like two scenes in the original. The rest of the movie was about Snow White being a kind person and being rewarded with a happily ever after.
But the prince is important to the ending since he was the only one who could wake Snow White up, demonstrating the power of love. People are already saying that in this version, the prince will probably do nothing that matters and Snow Brown will save herself. Which wouldn't surprise me at this point.

The fact they redesigned the dwarves again but didn't cast actual short people says a lot. It means that Disney realizes that they did jump the gun by listening to Dinklage, who I still believed said what he said to circumvent any competition with new actors, but because they dug their heels in so deep over this they can't go back and cast real short people. So CGI it is.

On the surface, this 1 minute trailer presents a story that closely resembles the 1939 film. It took them multiple rewrites 2-3 reshoots to even get to this point - use the original film as source material! It was only due to the HUGE backlash the film was getting for almost for 3 years. Disney changed direction of the film, but they busted the budget at $350 million. And in 2025 they will spend another $100 million for ad/promotion. The film will have to do $1 billion to breakeven for Disney. Like Little Mermaid, this will top out at $650 million at best. If they haven' tapped down on the woke agenda (not shown in the trailer), then the gross box office will be below $500 million.
How about when this comes out we watch the OG movie instead?
Zeglar had said they prince was problematic and he might be cut from the film all together. Meaning the male actor is going to get cut simply for playing a character, the male actor hasn't done anything.

Since I was not very familiar with Peter Dinklage's criticism of the Disney's new Snow White, I watched and listened to an Entertainment Tonight video with him giving his thoughts. I think he has a fair enough take, but I also think that Disney could have responded better to this criticism by redesigning the set making the dwarves' homes as little cottages in the mountains and still hired Little People to act as the Seven Dwarves instead of hiring average height actors to depict them in the way that they did, which was weird, weird.

I find it hilarious that Disney continues to use obvious bots to try and pump up the "positive engagement" on their trailers. Every time a new trailer for a Disney/Marvel/Star Wars project gets posted, it somehow "magically" has ~40k likes immediately, possibly before they even publish the trailer. And then it only goes downhill as the dislikes keep increasing while the likes never do. This is painfully obvious, and absolutely pathetic.
